"And here is your favorite chicken-noodle soup, I got a veggie broth here. Over here is your lemon-ginger infusion tea with two teaspoons of honey, and your cough syrups and drops, and ibuprofen, paracetamol, and nasal spray in case your nose get blocked at night. Remember, only 2 pills at a time. I don't wanna rush you to ER because you took an overdose. There's a box of water here. and I ordered your favorite sandwich from that second-hand sandwich place in Queens you and Tony love so much. And I didn't forget your Americano. I got garlic in the warm milk, and you'll find about five tissue boxes here. And if the room gets too cold or hot, F.R.I.D.A.Y can fix the room temperature, and there are some more covers right here at the edge of the bed. If you need anything else, tell F.R.I.D.A.Y, and I'll come faster than the Iron Man."Pepper finally stopped worrying about Peter. She had bought bags and bags of supplies, filled with coffee and tea and medicine and food enough to supply an army and gave him a tour of everything she bought. Ever since Tony told her about his cold, she acted like Peter had cancer. Nevertheless, he was happy Pepper was caring for him like a real mother. Aunt May was gone for a business trip in Budapest for a few months, and to be honest, he was missing her like she would be gone forever. He smiled at Pepper, "Thanks, mom," He said with a smile-then a cough. Pepper frowned uncertainly, wondering if he could use a first aid kit. "Of course, Petey, you're basically my son," she said as she touched his cheek. Peter smiled brightly at the special word. "Well, good night, and remember-" "-If I need anything, just tell F.R.I.D.A.Y and you'll come in here faster than Wanda's dead brother." He finished for her as he rolled his eyes. She chuckled and gently kissed his forehead. "Well goodnight, Spidey," she repeated. "G'night," He said as he turned his back and pulled the covers over him. Pepper slowly walked out of his room and switched off the lights.Peter woke up to a small headache but told himself that it was mild, after devouring all the food Pepper brought him, and 2 pills of paracetamol, and half of his coffee and tea, and using the nose spray about 15 times. He got up and glanced at his phone, which was charging. He picked it up and decided to Facetime Aunt May. After clicking on her contact, it rang a few times before her face showed on his screen. "Hi, Peter!" She said with a big grin. He smiled back, "Hey Aunt May, how's it going?" He asked. "It's pretty good, how's school?" She asked. Peter explained his fever, and how he had to stay home from school. He assured that the Starks were taking good care of him, and he would be better soon. She then told him about her trip, and the sights she was seeing on days off. "Well, I gotta go to sleep, it's 10:00 pm in Budapest, and I got a project tomorrow." She said. "K, Aunt May, g' night, larb ya," He said. She smiled, glad that he remembered their inside joke. "Larb you too, Petey," She said before she hung up.Just then, his phone started ringing. It was his best friend, Ned Leeds. "Hey man, what's up?" He asked, "Bro, why aren't you at school?" Ned asked anxiously. "I'm sick," Peter answered. "No, scratch that, where are you? I came to your place last night but you and Aunt May weren't there." Ned asked. "Uh, Aunt May is on a business trip for a few months, so I'm staying at the Stark Tower," Peter replied. "Woah, you're staying at the Stark Tower?? With all the Avengers?? That's so cool!!" Ned yelled through the phone. "Anyway, why was I calling? Oh yeah. Peter, you're in big trouble."Ned said, dangerously sparking Peter's spidey sense. "What? Why?" He asked. "So we were in English, and we have this project, where we have to interview a famous person we look up to and write it out. And today Principal McLane told us that we're having a field trip. To the Avengers Tower. And that's not all, everyone wants to do an interview, not on Tony Stark, but Spiderman, basically you," Ned said in one great rush. "Oh, crap," Peter said after he drank it in. He ran his hands through his hair, a habit he had whenever he was nervous. "Kay, Ned, I'll ask Dad about it," He said. "Alright-wait Dad?" Ned asked, "I call Tony dad, you didn't know that?" He asked."Woah, no I did not! you're so lucky! Calling Tony Stark, the billionaire of billionaires, Dad!" Ned said. "Uh, yeah, thanks. See ya later Ned." He said. And with that, he hung up. Oh boy, his class, everyone coming to the Stark Tower, and everyone wanting to interview Spiderman. What would Tony do? He would probably embarrass him, and the Avengers would also completely give him away. Even F.R.I.D.A.Y was able to reveal his secret friendship with the Avengers when she spoke to him. And then what would the media say? How could Tony let them go to the place while he as staying there? He ran his hand through his locks, which were now messy and tangled, and sighed. Just then Friday spoke. "Good Morning, Mr. Parker. I hope who have rested well. The Avengers are in the dining room, and Boss has asked you to join him for breakfast," she said. "Kay," he said. He got out of bed, got dressed, and went to the dining room, where Natasha was making pancakes. "Hey, sleepy head. You sleep well?" Tony asked. "Yeah, thanks." He said as he gave Tony a hug. Sam, Steve, and Bucky were talking, Bruce and Thor were helping Nat with the pancakes, and Clint and Scott were arguing over the last chocolate chip pancake. Peter sat down, and Nat served him a plate filled with powdered sugar and syrup. "ну вот, Питер," She said as she ruffled his hair. (A.N: translation is 'here you go, Peter') "Спасибо, тетя талия," He replied smiling at her. (A.N: translation is 'thanks, aunt Talia')Peter dove into his pancakes before turning to Tony, "Dad? What is this about a school taking a trip here?" He asked with a frown. Tony looked up from the newspaper he was reading, "Hmm? Oh yeah. There was some school called McTown High or something that asked if they could take a day trip here, and I said yeah. Why?" He asked as he drank his coffee. "Midtown High! Dad! I go to Midtown High! So all my friends will be here, and they'll know I know you guys and what do you think about what the media will say 'bout that??" He yelled, but his voice got raspy as he raw his throat with the yelling. Tony spit-took his coffee, staining the newspaper. "Oh god, that's your school?! I knew I saw that school name somewhere!" He said as he facepalmed, humiliated. "Dad, they wanna interview me, I mean Spiderman!! What do I do??" He asked as he got more and more worried. It was nearly impossible keeping Spiderman a secret in the past few months. He was able to barely convince May that when she saw him wearing his suit, it was just for a cosplay game with Ned. She still seemed very suspicious, but dismissed it. If he had not been the skilled liar he was, then he and his Spiderman career would be dead. If he had to conceal his temporary stay at the Avengers Tower, as well as his somehow family bond with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, and the fact that he was the Spiderman, then it would be like trying to hide Tony Stark at Comic-Con. Peter sighed and rubbed the top of his nose. That headache from this morning was worsening by the second."When are they coming?" He asked, hoping it would still be at least a week off so they could at least prepare for the armies of kids. "F.R.I.D.A.Y? When is that school coming?" Tony asked nervously. "According to your agenda, Midtown High is scheduled to tour the Avengers facility tomorrow morning at 9 AM, boss." Her feminine robotic was emotionless and calm, but her words filled dread into Tony and Peter. They glanced at each other, and they needed no words to say that the crowds will be invading a lot sooner than wanted.
