After being told, that Can was needed there as Tin' secretary, he expected Tin to atleast wait for him in the car. To his disappointment, he was already gone. He wasn't surprised anymore. Right, why would he care?
Can had to take the public transport to reach the place. He was lucky, he had been to Seoul few times before and he was vaguely aware of the basic places. Otherwise it would've taken him forever to reach the god damn venue.
When he was finally there, the faint music reached his ears and it somehow made him calm. His choice of music and food was the only thing he didn't change. The beautiful decor he had arranged for before was now changed to maroon. There were many people all suited in tuxedos and women all in formals. It was so quite in there, the only source of noise was the soft Korean music playing in the background.
All the people seemed filthy rich judging from the way they were dressed, the whole aura screamed elegant and he definitely felt underdressed. Now he understood what Tin said. Can looked at himself, and his attire was nothing compared to them. He shrugged it off and walked in confidently.
He felt a tug at his shoulder when he turned back only to find his boss looking at him with a unreadable expression.
"Listen, get me the file we've talked about yesterday. I left it in the car-" Tin spoke in a low voice. Can sighed but nodded anyways as he grabbed the car keys from his boss's hold and headed towards the parking lot to vet the file.
Tin on the other hand was trying hard to hit on this really beautiful yet intelligent girl named Lalisa Manoban. She was also an hire to really big company in South Korea. She was also from Thailand but settled in Seoul. Friending with their company would really be helpful for his company, so he was trying to become close to her.
Can returned back with file and what he noticed made him scoff in disgust. His boss was whispering into some girl's ear, he had to admit she looked beautiful. When he approached them, they were laughing about something. That's the first time he saw him laugh and it somehow made him angry.
He never laughs around in office and he looks like a total jerk. I'm sure he's trying to get her laid. Inconsiderate Asshole!
"Ahem.." Can cleared his throat not wanting to see them flirt anymore. He felt like he could throw up.
"Here is the file you asked for, ......!" Can spoke forcing a very noticeable fake smile.
Tin stared at him for a while before talking the file from his hold not bothering to thank him."Call me if you need anything!" Can muttered and spun around walking away. Tin finally looked away turning his gaze to Lisa who had a smug smile on.
Lisa spoke out of the blue,
"Are you guys boyfriends?"This made Tin choke on his wine for a straight one minute, Lisa patted him on the back while chuckling at the same time.
"Noo, he is my secretary."
"Oh, that's cool." She muttered before sipping on her glass of wine.
**
Bored was an understatement. What Can felt exactly was to rip someone's head off to satisfy his irritation. He didn't even know why he was so frustrated. It shouldn't even be termed as a party, all people were doing is chatting and it was the most boring party ever. There was no rock music no dancing. It was like bread without jam.
