🔸️Chap 12🔸️

"I request all the passengers  to fasten your seat belts, we are about to land at Bangkok airport in few minutes. I repeat .... "

Tin sighed, Can had been avoiding him like a plague since morning. He was asleep on his seat and snoring like a pig. Not  wanting to disturb his secretary's beauty sleep, Tin stood up and fastened his seat belt for him.

Soon they landed, Can's mom and his little sister Ley were waving  at Can with wide smile. He couldn't help but feel a little jealous, his family never cared about him that way. Never received him at the airport after a journey. All they thought about was business and money. As soon as they approached them, Can looked anxious .

"Mamma! leyy What are you guys doing here-"

Can's mom beamed at him " We thought it would be nice to receive you. My baby must be very tired!"

Tired pftt pft. I was the one tired handling his drunk ass, and spending a whole evening in finding him when he got lost like a child. Tin thought.

"Maaa stop showing off your affection in public!!!" Can exclaimed and looked at Tin with an awkward expression. Tin stood there clueless witnessing the family drama.

"Aye! Why, you think you've grown up now. Remember you still don't know  how to tie your shoe laces. I do them for you.!/" His Mom snapped making him pout like a kid.

"Maa, I know how to-"

Ley blurted out "Stop lying we all know you don't"

Tin let out a small chuckle which soon turned into a laugh, and  it gained him some attention. 

"Wait Can, who is this handsome young man?" Can's mom asked curiously.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Ley cut him in giving Tin a toothy grin which somehow made him uncomfortable.

Can choked on his breath before stuttering "wait- what the- ..... no wayy  he's not! He's my boss!"

Can's mom observed him from top to bottom before taking a step forward so that, she could see him properly.
"Oh well what a surprise! You indeed look very young. And, successful. Nice to meet you son!" She spoke offering him a bright smile.

Tin chuckled "Thank you, pleasure meeting you ma'am !"

Can looked shocked, he didn't expect him to be so kind and respectful That's new!

"You can just call me maa! And you are Tin I suppose!"

Tin felt weird for a second. No one had said that to him before. After losing his mother and going through all that, many people joined him in his grief, cried with him, advised him to forget about her but no one had ever asked him to call them 'mom' . He felt weirdly happy.

"Y-yes, I'm Tin!" He replied with a nervous smile.

"So would you like to join us for lunch at our place? I made delicious homemade food." Can's mom offered with a expectant smile.

"I um-"

"He can't maa! He's the CEO of a big company, he's quite busy. And besides he wouldn't be comfortable at our place." Can cut in making Tin frown in dismay.

"I'm not busy today, Can. Weren't you the one preparing my schedule everyday?"
