So after we walked home from the carnival, we parted our ways and went back to our houses. I opened the front door and instantly, I hear Madre asking if he's finally made a move on me, and she's actually very enthusiastic and positive about it. Mum kind of just, sat there, shaking her head laughing with a smile. I told them he hasn't, and Madre screamed,
"WHY NOT!? ¿POR QUÉ NO? ERES UNA CHICA FANTÁSTICA PERO ÉL NO-"
I took Madre by the shoulders and said , "Madre! Silencio... Me and him like each other but we are taking it slow."
Mum glanced over at me, lightly punched my shoulder, and said , "That's my girl."
We ended up all going to Taco Bell for dinner, and then by the time we got back home, Madre was asleep in the passenger seat and Mum was beginning to swerve as she drove. I had to take a hold of the wheel a few times.
Finally when we returned home, Mum was carrying Madre and I had to make sure I didn't have to carry Mum. But we made it into the house and to our bedrooms.
I couldn't sleep, because I kept thinking about Derek. I missed him. It was only 9 PM, and I remember Madre talking in her sleep in the Car, saying "Derek...stay with her tonight.." and Mum lightly smacking her arm and saying "Hey, shut up! She isn't supposed to know!"
Time passed. 10:30 PM. Derek hasn't talked to me since we parted. what happened?
I heard a loud THUNK outside my window, followed by a rock being thrown.
I opened the window, and started saying, "What is wrong with you!?" in Spanish. but then the rock-thrower emerged from the bushes.
"Jaime."
"Hello there."
