Ground Zero-Katsuki x reader

Birthday

A few days had passed after Katsuki and you made up. It was finally the day before your birthday and you were still thinking of what Katsuki would have bought you this year. By this time, Yuki could manage and construct some sentences. You liked to believe she was gifted.

"It's birthday tomorrow!" Yuki said excitedly. She was hopping from one foot to the other. You told her about what people do on their birthday and the concept of eating cake peaked her interest.

"I know right! The most important day, my sweet 16!" You bent down to her level. You pinched her cheek and put your shoes on. It was a Saturday and it felt nice to have your birthday on a weekday. You carried Yuki on your hip and decided to go out somewhere, simply out of boredom.

"My love, Yuki, where would you like to go?" You asked formally. She still didn't quite grasp the difference between formal and informal.

"Uhmm... Katsuki!" She yelled putting both hands in the air.

"No...Kirishima!" She corrected herself. You hoped that she made her mind.

"You want to see Kirishima?" You confirmed. She nodded while smiling, a little bit of drool sliding down her chin. You wiped her chin with your sleeve before lifting her back up onto your hip and walking out of your room, keys in hand.

As you walked down the halls you first decided to go to Katsuki's dorm before Kirishima. You knocked twice before you heard a groan and Katsuki walking up to the door.

"What do you want." He asked as he opened the door. He saw Yuki and his eyes lit up. She stretched out her arms towards Katsuki implying that she wanted him to carry her. He gently held her in his arms and smiled softly before roughly closing the door. You figured he forgot you and closed the door.

You knocked on the door again. "Kat I believe you forgot something." You said through the door.

"Huh? Forgot what?" He asked as he opened the door. Just then you began to walk away towards your room, playfully. He then realized and took your wrist.

"Come inside bitch." He said as he pulled your arm towards the dorm. You walked inside to see Yuki on the bed watching kids shows playing on Katsuki's phone.

Yuki dropped the phone and waddled to you. You held your hands out and she walked into them. You wrapped your arms around her and so did she.

"You want to see Kirishima now?" You asked as you held out your hand. She nodded first before she took it and began walking to the door.

"Oi, you're just going to go to Kirishima's dorm after staying here for like 5 minutes?!" Katsuki said with small explosions erupting.

"Yep pretty much." You replied. He held your wrist for a second before thinking.

"Then let me come bitch." He replied before sliding on a pair of shoes. He stepped out the door, walking up, next to you.

"Aww! Is my little bakahoe jealous?" You asked in a baby voice. Steam erupted from his ears.

"NO WHAT THE FIDDLE STICKS?! I JUST WANT TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH YUKI. SILLY HEAD." He got the hang of not swearing while in close proximity with Yuki which you appreciated.

You finally got to Kirishima's dorm and you stood out side and knocked. He eventually opened up the door to see Yuki. Yuki again, held out her arms so that Kirishima could carry her and he did. This time allowing you to pass through the door before shutting it.

"Thank you Kirishima for allowing me into your dorm before shutting it." You said as you glared at Katsuki. He only shrugged and sat down on a seat. Kirishima offered you two snacks and drinks to which you politely refused.

Time Skip (ITS UR FECKING BIRTHDAY!)

You woke up feeling great. Immediately, Yuki jumped onto your stomach and hugged you tight.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" She yelled excitedly. "CAKE!" She added.

"Yuki, darling with cake comes patience." You said as you patted her head. She nodded and skipped away. You decided to drop her off at Mrs.Bakugou's house for now because she missed her for a while and decided to pick her up later if she wanted to come.

You opened up your phone to see tons of birthday wishes. You smiled to yourself as you replied to each one. After an hour or so of waiting, you heard a knock on your door. You opened it up to see Kirishima standing there in front of all the 1A students holding a small box.

"We all pitched in to buy you this (y/n), so I hope you like it!" Kirishima flashed his toothy smile. You looked around the crowd, but couldn't find Katsuki. Eventually you found blond hair walking towards the crowd.

"Whats going on here? Why the fuck are you at my girlfriend's door?!" He yelled throughout the crowd of students.

Iida looked at him confused. "Don't tell me you forgot..." Iida trailed off. Katsuki looked between you two.

"Oi, you fucking extra speak up. What the fuck did I forget." He said, this time all eyes awkwardly drifted to you. You leaned against the door frame.

"Don't worry, we all forget sometimes. Come in though." You said to all your classmates. Somehow, everyone fit in your small dorm.

Just wait for April 20th when I 'Forget' his birthday.

You were extremely disappointed that he didn't even have a clue on what day it was. He was still clueless. It was literally THAT birthday, your sweet 16. You wanted to see how long it would take for Katsuki to realize what it was. Finally he came up to you after a few minutes of thought.

"Kit I'm so sorry for forgetting..." He trailed off. You had a hopeful smile on your face and you were ready to hug him when he remembered.
"Happy anniversary Kit..." He said almost unsure eyeing your facial expressions to figure
out if he were right or not.

You nodded, your eyes stinging slightly, but you held back. "Happy anniversary Kat." You nodded. He engulfed you in a hug. After a few minutes, everyone left your dorm, only leaving you and Katsuki behind. You were still mad at him and you were refusing to talk to him.

"Oi Kit, I know its your fucking birthday." He said while walking towards you.

"Took you long enough." You replied. You were still only giving him one word answers or answers with minimal communication.

"If I didn't know this whole time how would I have this?" He asked as he pulled out a small box. He scooted over to you and you sat there confused. "Huh?" Was all you could muster.

"Just take it. I didn't want to give it in front of all those extras" He shook the box as he gave it to you. You nodded speechlessly and opened the box. Inside was a small ring that had KB+(Y/I) engraved inside of it.

"This ring is only a promise ring, but the next ring I get you will mean much more."

You slid the ring onto your finger and hugged him tight.

"You only buy rings don't you." You said, your voice cracking on the verge of tears.

"BITCH THE OLD HAG TOLD ME TO GET IT. I'LL FUCKING RETURN IT THEN." He said as he pulled away.

"I love it Katsuki." Those few words sent heat to his cheeks. "I love you Kat." You said as you hugged him again.

"I love you too Kit."
