Just a random idea I had. :)

"This is the worstttttt," Sirius complained as he tried to jump to send his duster-spell to the next ledge.

"I mean, we shouldn't even have been punished for that!" James said, struggling in his task as much as Sirius.

I, however, was excelling, flicking my wrist neatly and sending the duster to the highest reaches of the hall.
"I mean, if anything, I was doing him a favor!" I said. "That haircut was totally stupid."

"Maybe he'll get a better one this time," Peter sniggered.

James, Sirius, Remus, Peter and I, also known as the Marauders, had gotten in trouble for a stunt I pulled on our Potions teacher, Professor Barnaby. I had blown Fire Powder at him, causing his hair to burn off. That was my initiation test to officially join the Marauders, and now, all five of us had to dust the Great Hall before dinner.

But that didn't matter to me. I was a Marauder now.

"Holy crap Phoenix!" Peter yelled, when he noticed my dusters work. "How'd you do that?"

"Watch your tongue, Wormtail!" Remus snapped at him. "She's Scarlet now, not Phoenix."

I merely smiled a little, swishing my long red hair over my shoulder. My hair used to be a white-blonde, a common characteristic of every Malfoy, but ever since I got sorted into Gryffindor, thoroughly upsetting my family, including my brother Lucius, I decided to dye my hair he color I wanted because I mean, they disowned me anyways, so why not?

"Alright, I'm done." James sighed, swiftly tucking his wand back inside his robes. "It's about dinner time anyways."

I nodded, about to stash away my own wand, but paused. "Guys, wait..." I said, dawning on an idea. "Why don't we give them a little show to watch later?" I stride to the middle of the hall, and then point my wand to the magical clouds covering the ceiling, the others following my lead.

"Alright boys, on three..."

1.

2.

3.

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!"

I immediately tried to think of my happiest moment, but it didn't come. Instead, it was a vision of my current surroundings: Moony. Wormtail. Padfoot. Prongs.

And me in the middle.

A huge Phoenix bursts out of the tip of my wand, somehow turning orange instead of blue, and soars up into the clouds. A moment later, the others' Patronuses appear, a wispy blue wolf, dog, rat, and stag appearing and breaking into a running leap, jumping up into the clouds after my Phoenix.

"Whoa," Remus gasped, eyes wide.

"How did you do that, Scarlet?" Sirius asks me.

"Dunno," I shrug, tucking my wand away in my pocket. "Guess I must have just been really happy or something."

*Timeskip to dinner*

It was dinner time, and the whole of the houses and staff were enjoying the feast. After a while, I pulled my wand out and tapped Remus' leg. He looked up at me, and I nodded at him.

He smiled, and relayed the news to Peter, while I told Sirius and James. We all pulled our wands out, and discreetly pointed them at the cloudy ceiling.

"Rejahora!" The five of us whispered in unison.

A bright orange phoenix soared down out of clouds down the center aisle, causing everyone to look up, startled.
Then the stag, wolf, dog, and rat jumped down, and I heard a few screams.

But soon it became 'oohs' and 'aahs' that filled the room as the patronuses raced around the hall, with the Phoenix soaring over the tables, leaving behind streaks of orange light.

This went on for a few minutes, and then the Patronuses congregated in front of the door.

The wolf leaped into the air, exploding in a shower of blue dust which promptly formed the word 'Moony.'

The rat did the same thing, forming the word 'Wormtail'.

The dog ran under the floating words, exploding into the word 'Padfoot'.
The stag followed his movements, forming the word 'Prongs'.

And then the Phoenix soared towards them, the orange dust flying off its tail forming 'Scarlet' before it soared in between the four names and everything exploded again.

This time, there was nothing but magic dust, which promptly dissipated as it fell to the floor.

The hall erupted in loud cheers, as the boys and I quietly congratulated ourselves.

Professor Dumbledore took to the podium. "Ah, well, thank you to whoever conjured up that brilliant show for us," he announced. "It goes to show sometimes even someone as old as me can still experience some firsts here at Hogwarts."

I dunno what I was doing with this really but imma go start a young Lupin x phoenix now unless someone wants to request something... ok bye
