"Lyla & Seth" (from "A December Bride")

~Talk with Jessica~

(Lyla's POV)

After my conversation with Jack, I walked over to Seth's side. Once I get there, I see Jack and Jessica talking about to each other. It looks like an animated conversation. Then I see her looking at me with a weird look on her face.

Then, after a few minutes I see Jessica walking over to be with me.

"Hey", she said, as soon as she got in front of me.

"Hi, what's up", I answered her.

"So, I just wanted to apologize about what Jack said. He had no right to say, what he said.

"I'm happy that you think that", I said. I really was very happy that she came over to say that, but kind of weird. I thought since they were married that they agreed, and thought the same way about this.

"But, honey, are you sure about marrying Seth"? She says. So now, here it is, she doesn't like the idea of me getting married to Seth.

"Oh, now you are on his side also", I exclaim.

"No, I'm not on anyone's side. I'm just saying it's not a lot of time to know someone for a long time, and honey, I just want you to be happy".

"I know you do, and I am happy".

She and I hugged, and that was the end of that conversation.....

So Jessica and Lyla hugged, and they thought that was the end of it, but the question was..... was it really over....

So I know that I left it at a cliffhanger. Later on in the story, it will all come together.
