AURORA STRAIGHTENED HER robes in the mirror and quickly brushed her hair. Usually the girl was woken up 30 minutes before breakfast began by Evelyn but she slept in for 20 extra minutes and when she woke up the dorm room was empty. It would be a miracle if she made it to breakfast before it ended.

She quickly grabbed her bag, shoved the needed textbooks into it, and raced down the girls dormitory steps. Muttering a good morning to her fellow ravenclaws and exiting the common room. She quickly ran down the steps and towards the Great Hall, making it there 20 minutes before breakfast ended.

Aurora groaned as she sat down next to Apollo who was picking at his oatmeal, she could tell he was in a bad mood once again. She decided not to ask about what has happened, if he wanted her to know he would tell her. "Have you seen Evelyn this morning? She usually wakes me but she wasn't there.." Aurora dragged out, ending the sentence when she spotted a plate with toast on it and went to take two slices for herself.

"Surprised you didn't see her, her and Sirius were practically eye fucking in the hallway" Apollo grumbled while taking a bite from his food.

Aurora sighed placed a hand on her friends shoulder, "Im sorry Apollo, she'll realize you two should be together one day. You have my word, Ill bloody shove you two in a brooms closet and won't let you out until you solve this mess if it comes to it." Aurora gave her friend a soft smile before dropping her hand to rest on her lap.

Apollo had rather strong feelings for Evelyn but would never have the courage to confess them so, he's now stuck watching Evelyn practically throw herself at every attractive male in their year. Aurora was honestly getting tired of it, it caused Apollo so much pain to see Evelyn off with other boys, she could tell his heart broke a little more each time Eve ditched the two to study with some boy instead of them.

Apollo gave his friend a small nod before Evelyn came into the great hall, looking slightly annoyed. She slumped down across from the two Ravenclaws and quickly grabbed a piece of toast and bit into it.

"Ev? Are you still upset with us?" Aurora asked quietly while Apollo kept his head down and his eyes on his food.

"Yes." Evelyn replied bluntly.

"Evelyn, Apollo wasn't trying to be rude or say you sleep around a lot. I think what he meant was that.. you have a hard time finding people that truly care about you and don't want to be with you just for your looks" Aurora reasoned, glancing at Apollo while Evelyn harshly ate her toast.

"Then why didn't he say that himself? Or stop me from leaving the compartment?" Evelyn furrowed her brows.

"Well, I think its because you're quite scary when you're angry at us, or anyone really" Aurora looked at her lap for a moment.

"Apollo?" Evelyn turned her gaze to the flustering boy.

"Oh- Erm- Yeah, you scare me when you're angry" Apollo met her gaze, stumbling over his words.

"Well I'm sorry I got so upset, I shouldn't have walked off without letting you finish your sentence" Evelyn gave Apollo a small smile.

"Its okay, I'm sorry for bringing it up in the first place" Apollo sipped his pumpkin juice.

"Friends?"

"Always."

Aurora silently cheered in her head, she hated seeing her friends fight over somewhat silly things. "Apollo, what's happened to your hands?" Evelyn asked, tracing over tiny cuts that laced Apollos hands.

"Oh, erm well, I found a cat in the common room two or so nights ago so I picked it up.. and it scratched the hell out of me.." His cheeks were a deep shade of red now.

Evelyn laughed at his words, "You picked up a stray cat? Merlins beard.. and I thought you were the smart one in our group" She said slightly jokingly.

"Hey!" Apollo and Aurora said in sync, both turned to each other and chuckled softly.

"Mornin'" Kristen said while placing herself beside Evelyn and grabbing a roll.

"Where 've you been? Weren't in the common room this morning" Aurora asked while leaning onto her elbow.

"Oh uh- Owlery." She answered quickly.

As if the universe was against Kristen, Scott Sire walked past the Ravenclaw table and waved at the girl with a shy smile.

Kristen smiled back and then returned to her food.

Evelyn and Aurora shared a look for a moment while Apollo finished off his oatmeal. "Were you actually snogging him before you go here?" Evelyn turned to the curly haired girl quickly while Aurora watched the situation highly intrigued.

"Sorry- snogging?" Kristen raised a brow at the term.

Evelyn groaned quietly, "Its what we call making out, but were you?"

Kristen cheeks tinted pink while she pushed her not-so-falling glasses to her face.

"She was!" Evelyn exclaimed, turning to her other friends.

Aurora clapped excitedly, "Kristen! Tell us everything!"

"There's not that much to it really, we just kind of have flings here and there.." The tone in Kristens voice almost seemed sad but with the chattering Great Hall around them, no one was able to pick up on it.

"People who have flings usually arent that friendly to each other.." Evelyn said with a  small chuckle. Apollo had said something about not wanting to be late for class and had left by then.

"We're like.. Friends with benefits, there's no feelings, its just sex really" She mumbled slightly.

"Kristen.. Do you like Scott?" Aurora had finally been able to pick up on her accidental tone.

Kristen kept her head down and pretended not to have heard Aurora, instead glancing at the further end of their table 'mindlessly'.

Evelyn and Aurora gave each other another look, "Don't worry, your secret is safe with us. That being said, we are totally going to play matchmaker." Evelyn said sheepishly.

"I swear if you guys-"

"Bye Kristen! Don't want to be late to class!" Aurora and Evelyn accidentally said in sync, standing from the table and waving to her as they exited the Great Hall.

Aurora smiled brightly when she noticed a face in the hallway, "Dobrik! Astronomy Tower!" She said quickly to him, having to speak kind of loudly so he would hear her. David nodded at her before Aurora and Evelyn walked off.

"Oooo you and Dobrik eh? Astronomy Tower huh?" Evelyn nudged her friend softly in the ribs.

"Shut up.." As much as she tried not to, Aurora couldn't stop the heat from rising to her face at the comment.
