AURORA EXITED the great hall and made her way to the Ravenclaw tower with Apollo and one of her dorm mates, Elise Oakland. Elise and Aurora weren't the best of friends but they shared classes and often worked on potions homework together.

Aurora knocked on the door using the eagle knocker and awaited a riddle. "What is travels around a room but stays in the corner?" The eagle asked.

The trio thought for a moment, "A stamp?" she asked though she was pretty sure about her answer. The door swung open and she quickly entered, her friends following behind.

"Well I'm quite tired so ill see you at breakfast tomorrow, night Apollo!" They usually sat in the common room late into the night and talked about the most random of things, whatever came to mind really. Aurora raced up the girls dormitory steps and into her shared dorm, Elise following after her.

"Uh guys?.. Where's Valerie?" Elise asked, Aurora turned and noticed there was a trunk in front of Valeries bed but it did not have the initials 'VA' on the side, instead it had the initials 'KM'.

"Sorry to interrupt but I'm your new dorm mate, Nice to meet you" Kristen walked into the dorm, gripping the ends of her robes tightly. Aurora was great at reading people and could tell she was nervous.

"No need to worry, we don't bite! Well you already know my name but that's Elise, Rosaline and Evelyn." She pointed at a blonde, a girl with strawberry blonde hair and a brunette, all who smiled at Kristen.

"Well I'm Kristen, Kristen Mcattee. Dumbledore told me that your dorm mate transferred to beauxbatons if that resolves your curiosity."Kristen made her way to her own bed and opened her trunk, grabbing pyjamas and toiletries.

"Oh thank you, that makes a lot more sense." Elise said while setting her robes in her trunk. "Are you guys all  going to bed now?" She asked.

The girls looked around at each other and nodded. Aurora didn't nod, instead she changed into silk pyjamas before pulling out her potions textbook, she always liked to prepare for classes the night before they began. Well, she acted like that until her dorm mates fell asleep.

She snuggled into her comforter and used a small bedside lamp to read from her book until she heard the light snoring of her friends. She set her book down and changed into grey leggings and pulled a fluffy jacket on before turning into her animagus form - a white cat - and quietly raced down the dormitory stairs.

She tried to walk slowly behind the couch once she noticed Apollo reading but once she finally made it to the door, she was picked up."Awh someone's lost their cat, hi little fella- oh you're a girl" Aurora scratched at his arms until she was dropped after Apollo checked the gender of the cat. Aurora raced out of the common room while Apollo rubbed his arms.

Aurora felt sorry but at the same time, she was practically naked. She quickly ran to the Astronomy tower and transformed back into a human. She huffed and pulled her jacket tighter around her body before she started up the ladder.

Aurora opened the door to the tower and saw a boy sitting and reading from a book, "Oh sorry, I wasn't expecting anyone to be up here, would you like me to leave?" Aurora asked, holding onto the door.

"Oh no you're fine. There's a lot of stars out tonight so I thought id get a head start on Astronomy" The boy said, writing something down in a notebook. She recognized the voice but couldn't pin point the person, the boy was thinking the same thing.

"My mums an astronomer, I would say I know my stars pretty well if you need help" Aurora said sweetly, closing the door behind her and walking further into the room.

"Please do" He turned to look at the girl.

"Oh David, lovely seeing you again. Are you scared of heights?" She asked while brushing a piece of hair that had fallen in front of face out of her sight.

"Uhm, no.." He told the truth, though he was a bit nervous for the next words Aurora would say.

"Great, well- sit" She swung her legs over the window ledge and held onto a railing installed into the wall. She patted the ledge next to her.

"Are you crazy? We could fall!" David exclaimed, setting his pencil down in his notebook.

"I come here every night and sit exactly here, just come on! Sit!" Auroras voice raised slightly.

"If I fall im blaming you for my death" David huffed and swung his legs over the ledge, gripping the railing tightly.

"Dave if you fall you wont be around to blame me for your death" Aurora looked up at the sky and examined the stars above them.

David liked the way the nickname rolled off her tounge, "Reassuring.." Aurora giggled while David couldn't help but grin widely at the sound.

"Okay do you recognize any of the stars or constellations here?" Aurora asked, her features lighting up at the incredibly star filled sky.

"Hm... I think that's Draco" He pointed at a set of stars.

She was silent for a moment, "That's Ursa Major. Try again, what's that one?" She pointed to a small group of three stars.

"Triangulum..?" He said, now blushing lightly from his mix up of the constellations previously.

Aurora giggled, "That's the one next to it, I was pointing at Aries"

David's cheeks were a bright shade of red, "Guess I'm gonna fail Astronomy" David sighed, swinging his legs back over the ledge and picking up his books.

"Nonsense, With my help you'll pass with flying colours" Aurora said cockily with a smirk on her face. David chuckled slightly at her expression.
