APOLLO MUTTERED a disarming spell before prancing up the girls dormitory stairs and pushing the door to Auroras dorm room open, hoping she would the only one in there.

"Merlin! Apollo get out!" Aurora shouted while using the shirt she was trying to change into to hide her bare chest.

"Calm down, Rora. Nothing I haven't seen before anyway. But I've got exciting news!" Apollo responded, flopping onto a bed.

"Make it quick, I have somewhere to be soon.." Aurora huffed, pulling the jumper over her head and sitting on the bed opposite of Apollo.

"Im gonna ask Evelyn to go on the Hogsmeade trip with me!" Apollo blurted, a big smile apparent on his face.

"Apollo! I'm so proud of you!" Aurora stood and pulled the boy tightly into a hug, she couldn't have been more happier and proud of her friend in the moment, this would hopefully clear up a lot in their friend group and resolve some of the arguing.

"Thanks, Rora.. Where do you have to be anyways?" He asked, hugging her back just as tight before pulling away.

"Oh, someone asked me to meet them somewhere. That's all.." A small blush had formed on her face from the mere thought of the boy and what he could possibly say, the possibilities making an odd fluttering feeling form in her stomach.

"Aurora.. Did you hear what I said?"

"Erm- Sorry, what'd you say?" She asked, feeling idiotic for letting her mind wander to the boy in the first place.

"I asked if it was a boy you liked, but from that.. I'm definite it is now" Apollo smirked slightly.

"I do not like him! We're just friends.." She got defensive quickly, thinking it was stupid to even consider the possibility of herself liking David. They were just really good friends, right?

"Quick replies, pink cheeks and-"

"Piss off."

"And you're about to tell me to drop it. Don't be embarrassed Rora, I haven't seen you fall for someone since third year, you deserve someone who's good to you" Apollo gave his friend a kind yet soft smile.

" I just said I don't like him, did you not hear me?" She crossed her arms, her brows knitting together tightly.

"Right.. And I'm not whipped for Eve. Have fun with your new boy toy, I expect details when we get back to the common room" Apollo laughed slightly and stood, waving before he exited the dorm.

"Twat.." She said quietly with a small laugh before pulling boots on and making her way to the Library, where she was supposed to meet up with David 15 minutes ago.

***

Aurora quickly entered the library, looking down multiple aisles before she heard a rather loud "Rora!" behind her. She jumped slightly before she quickly turned around and found David sitting at a table, to which she joined him. Aurora could feel Madam Pince's deadly stares on them.

"Are you trying to get us kicked out, David?" Aurora said quieter than David had previously been, the brown haired boy chuckled as a reply.

"That was indeed the goal, how'd you know?" He said through a grin. Aurora rolled her eyes slightly but smiled lightly afterwards.

"You're so funny.. So why am I here then?" She asked, now leaning her elbows on their table, her chin neatly resting in her palms.

"I need your help with a potions essay on that luck potion-"

"Felix Felicis?" Aurora cut off his words, a bit disappointed she was just there to help her friend out with a class instead of being asked to Hogsmeade, like Apollo was doing with Eve at that moment.

"Yes! That one! I'm really not looking forward to doing research on it to be honest with you. A luck potion seems like something a muggle scammer would try to sell you" David shrugged lightly, running a hand through his hair.

"You don't think it's real? David we go to a school for magic and use a wand to do basic things everyday, but a luck potion is crazy to you?" Aurora shook her head lightly, laughing quietly to try and not get kicked out of the library.

"I'm just saying, if you put it in someone's pumpkin juice without them knowing, would anything lucky actually happen to them?" David leaned back in his chair, throwing his hands up in defense.

"Yes you idiot, it is a luck potion, whether you know you're taking it or not, lucky things will happen" Aurora rolled her eyes before standing up, "I'll grab some books, don't do anything stupid while i'm gone alright?" Aurora looked to David.

"No promises, darling" David winked with a small chuckle, sitting up again and waiting quietly while Aurora grabbed a potions textbook.

Aurora returned to their table soon after with the needed textbook and plopped it down, rather loudly. She turned around to make sure Madam Pince wasn't eyeing her and then sat down.

The two studied for a couple of hours, going over previous potions they had done as well to make sure David had a good understanding of them. A bit before dinner was to began, they said their farewells and exited the library.

Aurora stood a moment after David did, telling him she'd take care of the books. Proceeding to hug him before she put the textbooks that they reviewed away. She picked up where her robe laid on the back of her chair and slipped it on quickly before leaving the library and heading towards the great hall, her stomach growling slightly as she walked.

***

Aurora smiled as she entered the great hall, spotting Evelyn already at the Gryffindor table and then joining her. There was no sign of Apollo but upon reading the expression on Eves face, she didn't seem to be overly happy or upset. She wore a neutral expression which just confused Aurora more than anything.

"No Apollo today?" Aurora asked, leaning into her elbows and looking at her friend. Evelyn looked away from the table she had been tracing the scratches of and up at Aurora.

"Guess not, I saw him in the courtyard earlier but he left pretty quickly. He's probably got a cold or something of the sort, he looked a bit ill to be quite honest" She shrugged slightly before looking back down to the table. Aurora scanned through the possible things that could have happened but her thoughts were cut short as food appeared on the table. After seeing a stack of turkey legs, she decided to simply check on Apollo after eating, and maybe sneak him one of the rolls.
