*******---Iron Will---*******
I remember in the 6th grade we had an iditarod race where people were the dogs and we raced to the finished and I was in the group who were the dogs. I remember I kept on falling, but just got right back up and gave it all I got till we passed the finish line, and the teachers for some reason praised me. I finally just realized why they did.
Most people who fall don't even bother to get up. They give up.
I didn't, but till now I thought that was a NORMAL mentality to get back up when you fall and give it your all.
I realize that this mentality is why I am still alive, still have higher than an 80 gpa in school even though I haven't been there in two years, and why I'm going to go on and do great things with my life.
Giving up is easy.
Getting up when you fall...
Now that's the challenge.*******---Ardency---*******
Are teens too young to understand love?
In my honest opinion, yes. Teenagers have a lot of growing up to do, need to find out who they are, and what they want in a potential partner and until they do mature and know what they want, then yes. I believe teenagers may feel the emotion...but they don't know what it's about, what goes into it, and that physical violence, giving it two days and then say "oh mi goodd I mi babigurl soo much a&f♥" is definitely not love. Love takes time. Love takes trust and being able to be trusted. So no....
I don't think they understand love. But their experiences that lead them to believe they are in love actually does show them what love is.
