Chapter 9🌹Girlfriend's Hormones

The lake is beautiful as it's endless and glittering.

"this is beautiful" I mutter to X who is looking at the lake with great admiration too.

"yea. Come, they are over there" he points and I see a camping fire close.

He grabs my hands and intertwine it with his then we walk to where they are.

"yea! Totally predicted, you look super hot Jessy" of course it's Nate. Then they all turn to look at X and I. I blush.

"what is she doing here?"

I frown, "what are they doing here?" I ask disgusted.

The clique are here. Of course they are here, Clancy is dating Zel and a wise girlfriend won't leave her boyfriend alone especially when he wants to smoke weed and I doubt it if he took the potion, Mercilia aka Cilia is dating Pete and  Matilda aka Tild (I gave her the nick name) has a crush on Curdles. So that explains their presence. What explains mine?

Still frowning, I move to an empty space with X then we sit.

He removes his hoodie. I gasp, "can't handle the view?" he asks wiggling his brows and reflexing his bicep.

Then I remember when I called Hazel Zel interrupting a beautiful moment. I smile, "have seen better"

They all start smoking, I didn't, even though I took the portion I didn't smoke. I just munch the greasy chips that Pete bought.

I made eye contact with Zel occasionally. Some meeting his gaze upon me and some him meeting my gaze upon him and some me just staring at the flawless creature. I blush when we make eye contact.

Well Medal? Medal didn't come.

I look at the fire burning. The guys are talking but am not paying attention to what ever they saying. I'm just looking at the fire burning as memories flood my mind.

See this fire Sica. It's burns everything but it cannot burn our love.

As cliché as that sounds, I believed it more that McDonald's muffins.

Liar. You made it burn. Infact, you set it ablaze yourself and the scar is still there, still fresh and painful. The pain. Nothing can stop the pain. No one can -

"are you okay?" I look forward and meet the boys looking at me worried while the girls looks bored but sparkling blue eyes catches my attention not breaking eye contact. Me, slowly drowning inside, with heart beat racing, goose bumps and me feeling uneasy. What are you doing to me Hazel Stones?

Then someone lifts my chin and made me face him, breaking eye contact from Zel. It's X of course it's him.

"you okay?" he asks feeling concern.

"no. I mean my chips are finished" I half lie. Well am not okay but it's not because of the chips.

He chuckles, "want another one?"

I nod.

He then kisses my forehead, "BRB" he says and leaves.

I smile and meet Clancy' glare. I frown.

Why is she glaring at me? It's not Zel that pecked me. Even though I wish it was him.

OMG! What am I thinking?

X returns with a bigger bag of potatoe chips. I mutter a thank you. Then we all started talking and having fun. Like these boys are fun. Mom's right, if these guys makes me happy then I should hang out with them. The conversation is fun apart from little insults between Zel and Curdles.
