Ah.

Apparently, I was being evicted.

Never in my life did I imagined such thing to happen.

Then again, never in my life have I had the need to rent a flat. I had always had a place to stay -- places that I owned.

Unfortunately the small city that I was in denied my proposal for new construction. Their loss. Certainly not mine I guess I will have to deal with things for now. It is interesting how the common people live like this. Spending and working in a cycle that sees so...what is the word for this?

Ha! Exciting.

I ventured away from the multimillion platform to see the world in a better light.

Okay. You caught me. I am another heir that decided to run away from work but in my defense, no one needs me in Stelk Corporation. Everyone handled their keep and there simply wasn't the need for the CEO's son to pop in and scribble his name over and over. Then again, that is also the reason why I have ended up being evicted for the first time of my life. After coming home late from an interesting event at the diner yesterday, apparently sinks in the homes in America are not eco friendly; meaning they get clogged and well the aftermath of getting clogged is getting flooded. And so I have a bill for a thousand dollar for damages in my hand and the bare minimum briefcase that I brought before I decided to disappear from Glasgow, in the other. What a lovely morning it is.

I stroll down to the diner that I am 'part-timing'. Also not too sure of what part timing is but I will roll with every obstacle in my way.

I am taking orders and wiping down the tables and working the counter before I see a glimpse of long black hair very much like the girl from last night. Whilst I kept doing my job, I see her enter this diner with another attractive lady. They choose a table and unlucky me, I do not have that particular table. Going to the back of the counter, I go up to Laura and ask her if she could let me have table 8. She looks in my eyes in exasperation, like most women, and sighs while saying yes to me.

I walk up to the table where the two ladies settled and introduced myself.

In high pitched southern accent, I say, "heyy. The name's Steph. I'll have the pleasure of serving y'all today. What can I get y'all to drink for today?"

I look at the girls and wink, "hey I did a pretty good job introducing myself didn't I?

"Steph, nice to meet you. Can we order?" the older Asian said.

"Go ahead," I said with a cheery smile towards the girl from yesterday. She spoke at that moment.

"We would like to have two coffees with cream and sugar. Hmm..," her eyes focused on the menu behind me. "A egg and cheddar sandwich as well."

I look towards the familiar face.

"I would like," she paused in hesitation, "a steak skillet with no peppers and raw onions."

"Your order will right up," I say while scribbling their order down. "What name is this order for?"

The older woman blurted, "June."

June gave small gestures of protest and eventually sighed. "Yeah put it in my name."

"Alrighty," I walk away grinning and feeling like I have just hit the jackpot.
