I was walking the same, boring, road home. It only took a few minutes from our place to Taehyungs but those minutes killed me.When I finally saw the apartment building we lived in, I smiled to myself.
When I had gotten through the doors I walked up the stairs to our apartment. I slid in the key and slowly twisted it, I slowly opened the door. I was expecting the place to look like a mess, as it usually did when Yoongi was drunk and I wasn't home, but to my surprise he had cleaned the whole apartment. There was also candles lit in the whole apartment, the candles being the only light source.
"Welcome home" I suddenly heard. I closed the door behind me as I started taking of my shoes and my jacket.
"Thank you" I said and wrapped my arms around his neck.
I felt his hands on my waist as he closed the space between us. Our lips touched and at that moment, I knew he was the only one who could make me happy. Even though we had our fights, he was still the love of my life."I have a surprise" was all he said when he backed away from the kiss.
He took my hand in his as he lead me into the kitchen where the table was neatly set, with food poured up on the plates and fancy wine in each glass.
I sat down by one of the plates and had a smile plastered on my face. He sat down opposite to me.
I looked down at the food and noticed something. It was a piece of chicken, wrapped in bacon with some homemade mashed potatoes. The same meal we at our first date.
"Is this-" I started but got cut off.
"I wanted to make it special and what other way than to relive our very first date" he explained, almost shyly. This was a side you barley saw of Yoongi and being able to see it felt wonderful. His romantic side.
I just smiled and we both started eating our food. We talked about all of our memories from the very first time we met until this very day.
When we had finished our food he stood up again and took the plates to the sink.
"I have one more surprise" he said and took my hand again.
He led me out of the kitchen into our bedroom. I walked up to the bed as he stayed behind me. On our bed there was rose petals that created the shape of a heart. Inside the heart laid polaroids of us from different trips we had done.
"This is so beautiful" I said and smiled at the sweet gesture.
He coughed slightly and I turned around to meet his dark brown eyes.
"I might not be good with words but I'll try. I know I'm not an easy person to love. I push people out instead of letting them in. I was, for a long time, scared of myself. I was scared I would just hurt everyone I loved. I thought I would hurt you. I tried to push you out, I tried to make you hate me, but you never did. You never left, you never stopped trying." I couldn't help but feel confused as I let him continue. "You believed in me when no one else did. You helped me understand that love isn't about what you give and take, it's about each other. It's about you and I, taking care and thinking about one another. I love you, with all my heart." He stopped to breath before he took out a box from his black jean pocket. I let a gasp out and I felt my eyes tearing up as I realized what he was doing. He went down on one knee and continued "so, Park Jimin would you give me the honers and marry me?"
I was now fully crying as I nodded.
"Yes" I sobbed out.
He put the ring in my finger and I threw myself in his arms.
I heard him crying as well as I felt my shirt getting wet from his tears, but I couldn't complain, I probably ruined his shirt by all my tears."I love you so unbelievably much" I sobbed into his shoulder as I tried to pull him closer.
This was real happiness.
