I sat there, my hands shaking from the feelings I was feeling.
I picked up my phone and clicked on dial button and pressed the phone against my ear. I heard a few tones before he answered.
"Hi" he quietly said. I could hear the nervousness he was feeling by just that word.
"Hello" I said and started fidgeting in my seat on the couch.
"What did you wanna tell me?" He asked softly.
His voice was like music to my ears. His voice could never get harsh. It was always that sweet, soft, sound that never failed to calm my nerves.
"I-" was all I said. I was thinking about a way to formulate my words so he would understand.
"I really-" I started before I realized what I was doing wrong. "Nevermind" was all I said before I hung up on him.
I couldn't tell him through phone.
I just couldn't.
