I woke up tired but feeling a bit better, I checked the time I had been sleeping for 5 hours ! I looked around the hospital room to see if my mom or Steven were here but no one was.

I was still irritated with Steven so I checked my phone to see if he texted but there was nothing, no notifications from him. Seriously what was he doing ? He seemed happy that's for sure.

I got on Instagram and went on Stevens profile and he had posted a pic, it was a picture of him and a girl but this wasn't Your average girl, she was hot ! And her cleavage was showing and she was all on Steven, there were a bunch of nasty comments calling her a hoe and a thot and I nodded with approval.

So that's what he was doing !!! He probably fucked her for all I know. Then I heard the door open. Oh great Steven's here I said sarcastically in my head. But when the figure came around the corner I saw a face I missed so much and it made me completely forget about Steven.

"Caleb !" I yelled smiling so widely my face hurt.

"Hey jade" Caleb said smiling brightly and came over and gave me big hug.

Caleb was my ex we dated for a year and 3 months. He was the guy all the girls wanted, he had Sandy blonde hair and crystal blue eyes and a gorgeous face and was a bit taller than steven.

I didn't know if I loved him but I really had some deep feelings for him and when I told him I was leaving to Compton we decided it was best to break up but we still talk and are best friends, I decided not to tell Steven bc I know Steven's the jealous type and decide maybe later into our relationship.

"How'd you know I was here" I asked still smiling widely.

"Your mom told me yesterday and I decided to come surprise visit you" Caleb said happily.

"Good bc I really missed you and I could use some company" I said remembering Steven.

"How long were you left alone jade ? Are you okay ?" Caleb said worried.

Caleb was the only one besides my mom who knew about my "conditions" and how it's bad to leave me alone for too long.

"Caleb I'm fine, I think I've been doing a lot better lately" I said holding his hand.

We talked about what had been happening while I was gone and how all my friends were and all that other fun stuff.

"Yea they really miss you ! You need to come visit !" Caleb said with soft eyes.

I was about to speak when I heard the door open. The person came around the corner and it was Steven, he was smiling until he saw Caleb and his eyes went cold !

Steven looked down at our hands. Oh shit ! I forgot I was still holding Caleb's hand ! I quickly swipped my hand away from him and looked at Steven. Caleb looked down at our hands confused.

Steven had anger in his eyes and was looking straight at Caleb ! Caleb looked at Steven than at me and realized what was happening, I didn't want to tell Caleb about Steven and I bc I didn't want him to think I moved on that quickly.

"Umm I think I'll be going now" Caleb said as he got up from his seat.

"No you don't have to go yet" I said in a sad tone. Making Steven look at me with a disgusted look.

"No I think it's best if he goes" Steven said glaring at him.

Caleb walked out slowly staring at Steven both of them holding an intense gaze looking like any second one would throw a punch.

I heard the door close telling me that Caleb was gone.

"Who is that !" Steven said loudly and with anger in his voice, making me flinch a little by how scary he sounded when mad.
