( plot summary )
on their first american tour, after a show, the band goes to a bar to celebrate. the first bar they find is a jazz club, but the drinks are good and the atmosphere is just right, so they decide to stay. there they meet celeste, an aspiring singer who frequently performs at this club. throughout the years, the men come back an visit her, and each year her and brian's relationship grows stronger.
when they decide to pay her another visit, they find that she isn't there. she's on tour singing about the one she keeps letting slip away.
( additional information ) — heavily based off of lana del rey's song brooklyn baby. you can listen to it as you write if it'll help :) — by the end of the story, celeste has written brooklyn baby about her and brian. — basically she sings jazz music at the club, but likes to mix in her own songs as well (all of her own songs should be lana's) — you can decide if you want them to be in a long distance relationship or not, but by the end they should be traveling together and/or be together. — brian doesn't want her to be the one that gets away, and obviously neither does celeste, but their busy lives and schedules get in the way. — celeste loves space. she could listen to brian talk about it for hours upon hours.
