~Alice

"You know Alice," Adam starts while dipping a double stuffed Oreo into a jar of Nutella, "I would have never guessed to dip Oreos in Nutella"

"Really?" I ask in shock, "It's so good!"

Adam shakes his head at me in agreement. We then look at the stars above us while sitting on my trampoline with blankets, pillows, snacks, portable chargers, and a speaker.

Earlier, I changed out of my dress into shorts and a hoodie to be comfy before climbing onto my trampoline, while Adam only took off his jacket and tie.

We decided to have a sleepover on my trampoline after almost getting ran over by a car.

You see....
————->      Earlier

The echos of our laughter enters my house before we actually did. After almost being ran over by a driver and seeing each other's faces, we couldn't contain our laughter. "That driver looked pissed!" I snorted, Adam bends over and comes back up wheezing, "We were slow dancing in the middle of a road!" Adam chuckles as he calms down, "Your snorting is cautious like the flu."

I look at him with a smirk, "Well, well look who just made a simile," I say, Adam rolls his eyes at me, "And it was not thanks to your awesome tutor!"

"Oh whatever!"

Laughing at his response I try to be serious, "But Adam, I am proud of your fast learning!" I say seriously. Adam smiles at me, "Thanks, Alice," he says gratefully and I nod. Adam looks over my shoulder and narrows his eyes trying to get a better look at something, "Is that a trampoline in your backyard?"

I look at the same direction he is and it's not hard to see my backyard, which there is a trampoline waiting to be jumped on. When you enter my house, the stairs are the first thing you see. And there's a short hallway with pictures and which you will see the backyard through the sliding doors that is sandwiched between the kitchen and living room.

"Yeah." I confirm. I wonder if Adam has been on a trampoline because trampolines are so much fun!

                    Ding!

A gasp flies out of my mouth when an idea come to mind. My sudden attitude change scares Adam a little, "Oh my gawd Adam! Do you wanna have a sleepover on the trampoline?" I ask excitedly, he shakes his head in disbelief, "What?" Adam chuckles.

"You bring a bunch of blankets, pillows, and snacks," I explain briefly, "You in?"

"Yeah, that sounds cool!"

A squeal leaves my lips, "You're too hyped for this!" Adam wearily says to me. I didn't pay attention and start to run upstairs, as Adam calmly walks behind me.

——->Later

Stargazing on the trampoline becomes relaxing, but I my mind started to drift into a another planets orbit.

"What do you wanna do with your life?" I ask Adam, he sighs, "I wanna make music," He replies, "You?"

"I wanna write," I answer and let out a little giggle, "First story will be about called The Writer and The Musician."

I could tell Adam shook his head at me since the trampoline moved a little. We both fall into a comfortable silence, I look at him to see his expression is stoic and he's seems to be deep in thought. Before I could ask if he was okay Adam cuts me off first. "Alice," He begins to start, "You've been so opened to me, and I admire that. I wanna open up to you as well now. I'm ready to."

"Open up about what?"

"My family." Adam sighs while sitting up, I follow suit. Adam looks at the sky as if he doesn't want to look me in the eye, "Basically, my dad openly cheats on my mom, however she loves him so much she lets him come back to her when there's no one else."

My breathe is swallowed back into my throat as if it was sucked in by a vacuum, "What?" I ask in horror, "I moved out of that Soap-Opera house into my own apartment because I couldn't take another day being there. Don't get me wrong, I love my mom a lot, however, she is blinded by her heart," Adam says while ignoring my question, "For my dad, well he's dead to me."

"Adam, I'm so so sorry." I say as cover my mouth in utter shock, "Do you have any siblings?"

Smiling fondly he says, "Yeah, I have a younger sister, Amy."

I look at Adam with a sorrow look, my eyes travel to the stars for some advice to give to Adam. Slowly, I face him and give him a big hug, "I'm sorry that you have a problem in your family, and I hope you know they love you. If you ever feel alone just know that I'm here for you!" I promise him. I know a hug and a promise might seem small to comfort someone with, but sometimes that's all is needed.

Adam wraps his arms around my waist tightly and I swore there was a little wetness on the collar of my hoodie, but I didn't want him to feel embarrassed if he was crying so I didn't bother to look. If he was, I hope he knows that it's okay for boys to cry.

We all cry, and it's perfectly natural!

"Thank you so much, Alice!" Adam murmurs into my neck which I couldn't help but get tingly from the feeling of his hot breathe on my neck.

"You're welcome." I say softly with a blush.

Now I don't remember falling asleep after that, but once I woke up I asked myself, why is my room brighter than usual?

I then slowly open my eyes to met the suns warm gaze as it peaks over my town saying good morning. It's sunrise. I turn my body to block the brightness to come face to face with Adam. The wheels start to gather speed in my head and I realize that we are spooning, and his arm is around my waist protectively. When looking up at his face I see he's starting to wake up, "Hey." I shyly say.

Smirking, Adam replies, "Wanna go to York Diner?"

"Yes please!"
