Sylas Above ->

The small cottage was enough for one.

"If father knew you were here, he'd have you suffer, you know that?" he asked and I bit my lip but nodded.

"Then why did you come back? This is dangerous, for you, for your friend, for me even." he said and I closed my eyes for a moment.

"Sylas, I want you to go away with me.. I can sneak you out, there's a life beyond here that you have no idea about. You wouldn't have to suffer, or see our own people die from hurt and faults." I said and he searched my face.

"Just me?" he asked but I shook my head.

"I want Hellein, Trevor and Levic to come with us. We have enough space, we have all the money you could ever ask for, and I know a way we can be together forever.." I said and he pursed his lips.

"Sister, Trevor is dead." he said as he searched my face, and I looked away quickly, standing up.

"No.." I whispered. Mellissa was just watching us talk, and I covered my face for a moment as I looked out of the window.

"How." I said as he stared at me.

"You don't want to know-"

"How Sylas." I said in english, and he sighed.

"Father thought he was the one who smuggled you out of town, and he didn't object to it." he said and I covered my face.

"That's what I thought," I said as he stood up.

"He would've died anyways Sin, he had tipped over a food cart and stole three loaves of bread. He had already had his hands chopped off and his tongue was about to go with it.. He had already chose his way." he said and I felt the sting of tears in my eyes, but I kept them back.

"I want to do something that will pay him back.. Pay for what he did to our town, our village, your lives." I said determinedly but he grabbed my face and carressed it, making me look into his eyes.

"No, do not do something that will get you discovered. Over half the village would cover for you, but with him, he's turned different for the worse." he said and I wiped my nose.

"How many children has he had since I've left." I said and he kissed my forehead.

"seven, all different women. The oldest one is five.." he said and I bit my lip.

"Which one is he closest to?" I asked and he narrowed his eyes.

"Sobbis, the five year old. He treats him horribly, beat him to the brink of death twice until Butice had to fix him up." he said and I pursed my lips.

"I'll take him with us to instead of Trevor. You work on him, and I'll work on the others, alright? Just get them to come here to me, and if you can't, tell me where to go." I said and he nodded.

"I can get to Sobbis, we're close." he said and I nodded.

"I know where both Levic and Hellein are." he said and I nodded.

"Just be in for a suprise with both." he said as he grabbed his coat, and I nodded as I walked with Mellissa out and into the crowd once more.

"You should have told me that this would be a risk to you." she said and I glanced at her.

"You don't know how risky it is for you and I anyways. We're about to smuggle out four people who is close to the owner of all this property and land. He is about to lose his children without will, and that will be worse than loosing his wife." she glanced at me for a moment.
