The shrill sound of my alarm clock going off quickly woke me from my slumber. I hit my alarm clock off and began to get ready. Did I mention I really hate mornings?
I did my morning routine, feeling lucky to have naturally wavy hair so I did not have to mess with it much. I made sure to put on enough makeup that my bruise from last night was covered, and wrapped my very sore ribs. I threw on my tight black jeans, black tank top, and black combat boots. I didn't have much to choose from, so this would have to do. I grabbed a large hoodie and the school supplies I would be needing before heading out.
The school was only about a fifteen minute walk from my house, so it was not too bad. It was actually the only peaceful time I would have, I'm sure, so I would enjoy every moment of it. I didn't have a phone to listen to music on, so my thoughts kept me company.
I arrived at the school a half an hour early, taking in what it looked like. It was definitely much larger than my last school, and more decorative. There was a wolf banner hanging outside, I'm assuming it is the schools mascot. The colors are black and gold, which I don't really mind at all. For the most part, the school seemed pretty nice.
My feet took me to the entrance doors before I knew it, and I had walked in straight to the office. The receptionist, whose name tag said Betty, sat behind a big oak desk. She looked up at me curiously.
"My name is Aella Snow, I am a new student here. My paper said to come here to receive everything I would need." I nervously said.
"Yes, very well. Here is your schedule of classes, and a map to help you around the school. That should be all you would need from me. If anything else, do not hesitate to come back and ask." Betty smiled. I took that as my cue to start looking for my first class. Apparently my day would begin with Math, which I didn't mind at all. Better to get the worst class out of the way first.
