Chapter 11

~~~artemis's pov~~~
It has been a few hours since soren left it is now dark outside and no one has heard or seen from him since the bonfire. Jade walks up to me her face showing worry and fear and she says" have you seen soren?! He wasnt at the gaurdians meeting that was called  and he is always there even if he is taking a camper to camp jupiter or camp half-blood he always made it to the meetings and that worrys me... he went towards the beach and water is his one weakness!!" I realize what she was getting at  and i summon my hunt saying" hunters we are going to look for soren no matter if you have a quarrel with him everyone will search for him." Most nod but a few look clearly displeased by what they have to do. And i run with jade to the lake and begin to search.
~~~ 3 hours later~~~
I am trying to help jade keep her cool aa thalia comes in her eyes are red as she walks beside us i say" report thalia." She looks down saying" we have found him and he um isnt doing well we found him hanging from a trees with daggers in his wings and in his arms and his feet his chest leaning down to the ground like he was crusified. and the area that is to dangerous for the hunters." I ask "what do you mean to dangerous for you." She responds" if anyone moves to remove him a giant bolder will fall on us and soren and he has little time come on!" Jade and i stand and follow her as thalia leads us into the woods where we can can hear weeping and we make it to an opening in the forest where we see soren hanging there i see him pulling on the daggers in  his hands holding himself up he turns to me i can barely make out" help me i am running out of strength!" His eyes showing fear before rolling back as his body gives out and his head slounches over and jade says" his life energy is fading  he is going to die soon!!" She screams he hands on the earth making pilliars and they begin to hold the giant slab of metal she says"ARTEMIS GET HIM DOWN NOW!" I nod and climb the tree and remove the daggers i notice that the blades are barbed making it hards but i remove them he falls to the ground i catch him i cant hear him breathing and i cant feel a pulse thalia walks up and is about to use lightning to try and save him but his body slowly loses all of its glow and i hear the sound of thunder above me and i know who did this i begin to cry and say" jade i am so so sorry if he had never been made my guardian he wouldn't have died..." she grabs my shoulders and shakes me saying" this isnt your fault it is the one who did this and we both know who that is. I have already told Dionysus to call a council meeting and we should go." I nod standing saying to the hunters" go back to camp and be with each others and prepare a hunter's Burial." They nod as i lift soren's corpse and jade hand is on my shoulder i teleport us outside the council chamer. I can hear the chatter of the council and i say to jade" take your place next to your charge." She nods and i breathe deeply and walk in carrying soren's corpse and everyone gasps and i walk up to hestia laying him at her feet saying as i see her begin to cry" i am so sorry hestia i know what he meant to you and i hope you can forgive me." She raises my head saying" how did he die?" I reply" he was tortured in the forrest at camp half-blood and he was left hanging like he was on a cross and i know who has done it... zeus how could you do this to a man who was respectable and kind and there was no man more selfless than him" i stand turning to zeus" how could you and why would you ...TELL ME!!" He stands bolt in hand saying". He was a threat to the council and you especially!" Then hestia stands the fire ring around the council room becoming out of control as she says" no he wasnt he was a threat to you! His whole race was that is why you killed his family and tortured them the same as you did here but little did you know he lives and he will have his revenge." With that out of nowhere the room becomes darker and out of the center of the darkness chaos appears glaring at zeus before saying" zeus son of kronos you knew soren had my approval and you have seen him for countless generations saving your children even and that was after you killed his father and his brethren and ruined his life i knew you would do this so i warned soren and made a double of him but unluckily for you he lived and he is pissed and i will not stop him from his revenge and your guardian Steven will not protect you and i order him to not do so... speaking of which  here he comes." As she says that another sphere or darkness appear beside her and soren walks out steping onto the stones causing them to break with every step he walks over to his old courpse touching its head absorbing it before he hugs his mother saying" i am sorry mother i wish i could have told you sooner..." she cuos his face kissing his forehead saying" i am just glad to have you back my son... are you going to take revenge on zeus?" Soren sighs saying" no i won't i will be better than him i am not a grudge holding coward like him. I am going to be taking my place beside artemis." She nods and he walks beside me his power subsiding and he sits cross legged and he remains still and athena is first to speak." Soren if i may ask why do you hate zeus so much and what wrongs has he committed?" Soren sighs again before saying" during the first titan war zues called on my people the dragnoroks children to fight the titan army...after the war was won there were these creatures made by the dragnoroks brother which made mortals into savage beasts as strong as a half-dragonborn  and zues with his almighty bolt made from my brethren who in the forges of the sky made with there own essense... they were lightning dragons as such the dragnorok wasnt affected by said lightning because he is the eldest dragon meaning he himself was immune to all elements exept for dragonsbain steel made by zeus's personal forge master hephestus. And zeus declared that all of us be rounded up and be tortured and killed to find the person responsable but he didnt know that my uncle was banished by my father... i was born 5 years before zues began his hunt for us and because i was the son of the dragnorok and my mother who was a half dragon born as well i was sent to a living hell where i would be tortured by his eagles and to keep us sane he asked us to do a simple math problem (1000-7) and. Once we did that we would be taken back to our cages under Olympus itself i can show you where it is and you can see what i lived through" his fist touched the stone as he punched it causing a massive gap in the slabs we all gather around the spot we see the corpses of babys and cages and the weapons and finally we see a dragon bigger than any before Soren continues" hephestus i know you made the weapons and chains that were used to kill my people but i do not hold you a countable ... am i right to assume zeus told you to do so?" Hephestus nods as soren jumps into the pit gathering ashes of his brothers and sisters  before grabbing a sword from a nearby rack and flys back up he turns to chaos asking" please will you give me a empty bowl." She nods and a large bowl appears at his feel and he sets the blade on the bowl and he takes out the ashes pouring it into the bowl before grabing the blade slicing into his arm jade and i both jump up and try to grab his wrist but he smacks us both back with his wings his eyes black with fiery red eye and he says coldly" do not interfere." Then chaos looks at us both
aying" do not worry about him he will be fine." Soren then begins to chat as he mixes his blood which is pitch black and slowly turning more of a silver and begins to shine and he makes a sort of sludge and he flash steps pinning zeus down and begining to mark his body with symbols chanting and soon a light shines and soren says with in a voice not his own" zeus for your wrongs against my people and my children i curse you to find the true culprit who was banished for commoting this ultamate tabu for a dragon... i am anthuri the dragnorok i am possesing my sons's body to make you right what you have done or youre greatest fear of losing your power will become an reality... every year on that day you will be put through extreme pain equivolent to what you caused to all of my children." Sorens body begins to float and hades looks in aw at him before soren falls to the ground unconscious and i catch him looking at hades asking" WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!" He turns saying" the spirit just left his body but it wasnt just one but thousands of dragon and half dragon born spirits... i have never seen this happen before." Zeus stands glaring reaching for the sword over the bowl grabbing it raising it to strike when soren wakes up and yells" get away from me" he gets out of my arms turning back seeing zeus before saying" please no more i dont want to go back i won't go back!!!" He turns running but he keeps tripping hiding behind a pillar before climbing it and hides i turn to chaos confused she sensing what i am about to ask" it apears soren has had a mind regretion... who thought such a strong man would have his mind broken so easily..." before she continues hestia stands saying" what will it take to get him back to his old self?" Chaos says" either his charge must be in danger or he must be nurtured back to adult hood again... but the soren you knew he isnt coming back he will not remember any of us..." she turns to jade saying" even you jade, it is safe to say his feelings for you are gone never to return... i am sorry." Jade falls to her knees i hug her as she says" why him why did you do this to him zeus...WHY!!! Tell me!! Or at the very least have the memories of what we were erased from my mind so i can move on and do the same to the rest of the gaurdians." All of the gaurdians stand and confort her all agreeing chaos says" are you sure you want this to happen? " they all nod and she says" i will have him in your memories but he will be unnoticed by you... i am sorry my gaudians forgive me." Her aura stretches to each of the gaurdians and they to fall unconcious chaos instructs the gods" all but artemis and hestia leave and take your gairdians hestia yours will be in your domain alright?" She nods and each god flashes away with there gaurdian~~~to be continued next time~~~
