Falling

At some point, you acknowledge the drop

Eventually you know you're falling

The space between your toes and the edge become ever so slight

Once you open your eyes, you're looking over the ledge

Looking over gave you a thrill, but the real excitement is stepping off

At moments, it feels like you're flying

Completely throwing out the laws of physics

Able to defy gravity in every way

But other times, you plummet

In an intense spiral downward

Jumping out of the plane only to realize you forgot your only means of safety, no parachute allowing you glide down

Back to earth without a scratch

The immense clouds lightly graze your skin

It's magnificent isn't it?

How you feel the cool light sensation of the wind, but in a split second the daggers and pain of the same

Going from a climax, to a gruesomely dismal state

In all reality, these occurrences are ever so possible

Nostalgia eventually fades into the light mist of pain

The rare chances happiness prevails is possible

The minute, the second, the instance your attachment endures odds

Stay

Hold on for dear life, for if you don't the endless cycle of falling will decimate your soul
