Sitting down on the edge of the bridge, taking in the beauty of the scenery that is by the ocean, she knew how to get up there, because of how much trouble he has caused when they're together, people have called her reckless but it wasn't like that at all. Not entirely.
It was mostly the temptations that he has told her, she was inquiry to his intentions from the beginning to end, she didn't think he would cause this much damage to her heart yet he did, he wasn't always in the center when it came to her emotions or feelings. Her mother always told her to be cautious when it comes to boys, when it comes to her heart.
Kaycee never understood it until he suddenly came to the forefront of her mind, where the attention was drawn to him, she never want it to be that way, Kaycee took small steps while he took two to three steps to her, heart and mind jumbled up in a mess.
Sean was and is the reason of her heartache, the reason for her recklessness, where risk and precaution became such a fine line until it blurred into the air, the line spread out until there's nothing anywhere she stepped, or where she sees.
While sitting between the wood of the bridge, her hearing picked up a sound down below, casting her eyes to the beach, seeing kids playing around, causing her heart to mend a little inside her emotional state.
Than she thought out loud "take me back to the night, we met in the yard, climbing up to the roof Sean hidden in the dark" sighing out painfully, shutting her eyes, squeezing it, so she won't shed a tear for someone, she once thought was her lover, but sadly it was just a beautiful mess.
[Flashback to 2018] Remembering the night when they did got on the rooftop at the hotel they stayed for a family trip, the time when they barely knew each other, where surprisingly both family taken their stay at the resort in Hawaii, he had approached her, in the night, introducing himself to her, being a shy yet extroverted person she was, Kaycee introduced herself to him too, with pink dusted her cheeks and the tips of her ears.
He was intrigued by her, she never understood why though.
Both families were next door to each other, at the hotel, kaycee met sean a yard from one another, he beckon her to the hallway from their individual latitude, cautiously going outside of her hotel room, seeing him leaned back by his too, he smiled at her genuinely, causing her to smile too. Not being able too, when he looked at her with this curious and intriguing eyes.
He lead her to the rooftop, her being a curious gal she is, she had followed him up there, both laughing quietly, as they sneak past the workers on their way up where they are now.
