Sick Chapter 6

I woke up the next morning. Me and Y/N's heads were still close. She was still asleep. She looked so peaceful... I smiled and waited a couple seconds before lifting my head. "Finally, you're awake!" Jin said. I looked at him. "I was so bored!" "You could've woke me up." Jin opened his mouth to speak. "He was going to, but I told him not to." Namjoon said. Namjoon walked in the room, holding food in his hand. "Why?" "Because. You and Y/N looked so cute!" My face turned red and I grabbed a spare pillow. He tried to duck as I through it at him, but he failed. "Hobi..." We all looked at her. "Shut up..." We all started silently laughing, knowing that she was still asleep. Once we all got done laughing, Namjoon held out a ham and egg biscuit. "You hungry?" "Yessss!" I took it from him and started eating. "Wow, not even a thank you?" I paused eating and swallowed. "Thanks." I started eating again. "You're welcome." "Hobi?" I looked at her again. This time, her eyes were open. "Hm?" She smiled and sat up. "Good morning!" I smiled back at her. "Good morning." I looked at Jin. He was obviously waiting for her to tell him good morning. She noticed me looking at something, and turned around. "Oh, hi Jin!" "Hi." She looked back at me. Jin looked like he had just been slapped in the face. "Hey, at least she told you hi." Namjoon said. "I'm her brother!" Jin said. Namjoon just sat down, and began staring at me and Y/N with a smirk on his face. I sighed at him. "What?" Y/N said. I looked back at her. "That weirdo over there is being weird." I pointed at Namjoon. "Hey! I'm not weird!" He said. She turned to look at him. She giggled. "Then why do you have food in your nose?" He just stared at her. She laughed again, then looked back at me. "So, how'd you sleep?" I blushed. "Good... What about you?" She scrunched up her nose cutely. "I slept really good." I was blushing really hard, so I looked down. I heard Namjoon let out a short weird laugh. Everyone's eyes shot to him. "What..?" He said.
That Afternoon
Y/N had fallen asleep again. "Do we know when she'll be released?" I asked. "They said she can be released tomorrow." Jin replied. "At least she doesn't have to stay here too long." "Yeah. I'd have to leave you at the hospital while I work..." "Wouldn't that pretty much be the same that as leaving me at your house?" "I guess..." I raised an eyebrow. I rested my arm on Y/N's bed, and I almost immediately felt someone grab my hand. I looked down at Y/N, and saw her holding my hand and smiling. I held her hand back and smiled at her. "I'm getting out of here soon!" "Yup!" "Will you be there when I get out?" "Of course!" "That's good!" She sat herself up. "Are you hungry Y/N?" Jin asked. "Yeah, a little." She replied. "Do you want kimchi?" "Yes!!" "Me and Namjoon will go get that." "Why me?" Namjoon asked pitifully. "Uh, I'm going to need... help." Jin said. Namjoon looked at him for a minute. "OOOOH! Ok, yeah I'll help!" They got up and left the room. "They're really weird..." Y/N said. "That's a fact." I said. She laughed. "Come here!" I looked at her. "Hm..?" "There's room up here, come on!" I slowly climbed into the bed. I was leaning against the head of the bed. She leaned her head on my chest, and I wrapped my arm around her. "I can't wait not to be stuck in here... The only thing that isn't boring in here is you..." I blushed at her statement. She moved to where she was looking at me. "When I get out, can you take me to the park?" She asked. "Maybe. If Jin thinks it's a good idea..." She sighed and moved her head back. "Jin doesn't think anything is a good idea... He's too worried I'll get hurt. I want to live like a normal girl, not be locked up in my house every day cause I'm sick. I don't  have much time left..." "Y/N..." "And I don't want to spend that time in a house. I want to spend it doing stuff I would enjoy." "When you get out, I'll take you to the park." She looked at me again. "Really?" I smiled softly. "Yeah." "Promise?" "I promise." She smiled widely. "Thank you!" "Any time..."
Jin POV
Me and Namjoon were about to go back in the room, but we heard Hoseok and Y/N talking. "When I get out, can you take me to the park?" She asked. "Maybe. If Jin thinks it's a good idea..." He responded. I heard her sigh. "Jin doesn't think anything is a good idea... He's too worried I'll get hurt. I want to live like a normal girl, not locked up in my house every day cause I'm sick. I don't have much time left..." A lump formed in my throat at those six words. "Y/N..." Hoseok said. "And I don't want to spend that time in a house. I want to spend it doing stuff I would enjoy." She said. "When you get out, I'll take you to the park." Hoseok said. "Really?" "Yeah." "Promise?" "I promise." "Thank you!" "Any time..." Her saying those words made me realize how much I hold her back... I've always been so afraid of losing her, that I wouldn't let her live like a normal person. Like she deserves... "You ok?" Namjoon asked. "Hm?" I looked at him. "Are you alright?" "Oh, yeah, I'm fine..." "Ok..." He entered the room. I stared at the door for a few seconds. It's a good thing she met Hoseok. I think he'll be able to help her with basically everything she's wanted to do before she dies... Go on walks. Go to the park. Get a friend. Find love... Namjoon peeked his head out. "You coming?" "Yeah, I'm coming."
