Charli's POV

Rayne and I climbed into the back seat of Luke's car, leaving Matt with shotgun while Luke drove. Matt stood outside the back window, pouting at us.

“Aww, what's wrong, babe?” I asked.

“I wanted to sit in the back with you.” He replied, his bottom lip still sticking out, making him look absolutely adorable.

“You live her with for fuck's sake! You can sit with her every day!” Luke exclaimed exasperatedly, climbing behind the wheel.

“Yeah! I need my bestie for the day!” Rayne added.

“Fine.” Matt huffed, taking the front seat.

I leaned forward, wrapping my arms around his neck from behind the seat.

“I'll make it up to you for being such a good sport. I promise.” I whispered in his ear, kissing his cheek.

“Really?” He asked, turning his head to look at me, trying to hold back a smile.

“I promised.” I smiled at him.

“Okay.” He smiled back, kissing me softly.

“Great! We're spending the day with the most lovey dovey couple ever! And we haven't even left the driveway yet!” Luke complained jokingly.

“Oh hush! You're just jealous.” I smirked, pecking his cheek and sitting back in my seat, putting my seat belt on.

“So, where to ladies and gent?” Luke asked, starting the car and backing out of the driveway.

“While I was job hunting, I saw an ad for some Bodies exhibit. Can we check that out?” Rayne suggested.

“Oh yeah! I think I saw that too. Isn't that where they've taken real human bodies and sliced them up or something?” Luke asked.

“Yep.” She nodded.

“Awesome! Do you remember where it is?”

“Ummm, no. But I can look it up real quick.” Rayne replied, going to pull her phone out, but it wasn't in her pocket. “Well, I would. But it's kinda hard to do that without a phone.”

“I'll look it up for you.” Matt offered, phone already in hand.

“Thanks, Matt.” She smiled.

“Sooooo....” I raised my eyebrows at Rayne.

“What?” She asked, giving me a weird look.

“What's going on?” I asked softly.

“What do you mean?”

I sighed and shifted my eyes from her to Luke and back again, hoping she would get the hint. She raised one eyebrow in confusion, apparently not getting it.

I rolled my eyes and made the same gesture as before, just a little more obvious.

“Oh.” She said, finally getting it. “Umm, well, I don't really know.”

“How do you not know anything about it?” I questioned. “How do you feel?”

“Well...” She trailed off.

“Hey, Matt?” I asked sweetly.

He turned to look back at us and I gave him a look, silently letting him know I was trying to get info. He nodded in understanding and turned the radio on, giving us some background music.

I smiled at him, blowing him a kiss and turned back to Rayne, prompting her to continue.

“Well, Mike tried using Luke in his lie to me about where he was the other night. Luke got pissed about what happened and came over.” She bit her lip and took a deep breath before continuing. “He helped me pack some things and took me back to his house.”
