It was time. Grades are everything in Kunugigaoka Junior High School! The finals of the first semester were quickly approaching. It was the stage for the last decisive battle before summer vacation. And one yellow octopus intended to make sure no one in Class E would have to be ashamed of their grades again.
"Attention class, I would like to announce something" Koro-sensei said. Even his clones came to a halt. Everyone looked up.
"As Shiro-san previously mentioned, losing tentacles makes me move slower" Koro-sensei said as he shot a tentacle. It exploded. Koro-sensei looked at Reiko who was playing with a Rubik's cube in the back of the class. Feeling the target's eyes on her, Reiko looked up.
"Each tentacle loss reduces your speed by about 20%. Even if your tentacles decrease by one, it has a clear effect. Just like how it is tampering with your duplicates right now. Some of your duplicates have shrunk due to the fact that you can not maintain them properly" Reiko added after realizing what he wanted from her. Koro-sensei turned orange as a circle appeared on his face.
"Correct. Now sensei has come up with an idea. Last time you were assessed by your composite score. This time, you will all be evaluated by your strongest subjects as well. On the return of your exam papers, I will allow you to destroy on tentacle for each subject you score the top in your grade" Koro-sensei said. Everyone looked at him in shock.
"I'm sure you can see that this is a huge opportunity for you. If you take the top spots in composite score and all five subjects. You'll be able to destroy 6 tentacles.
