Months later, my mom and I found ourselves at the hospital. She was panicking cause she was about to have the baby soon and Shawn wasn't here yet. He had been doing a photo essay for work upstate. He was now rushing to the hospital in an attempt to be there for the birth.

"You're doing great, mom," I assured her.

"You just need to stay calm, Katy. Shawn will be here, I know it," Mrs. Matthews said.

Just when we thought Shawn wouldn't make it, he showed up with his camera around his neck at the hospital room door.

"Shawn, you made it!" I said giving him a hug.

"Oh good, Shawn's here," my mom said, a little delirious due to the circumstances.

Less than fifteen minutes later, a baby boy was born 20 inches, 7 pounds 1 ounce. He was cleaned and then placed in my mother's arms.

"What do you want to name him, Shawn?" Mom asked handing him over.

From the way he was holding the baby, it seemed like he was afraid he would break him.

"Jonathon, Jonathon Patrick Hunter," he said.

I was the first to hold him after my parents.

"Hey, John. I'm your big sister Maya," I said quietly, my parents smiled at the nickname. "You look just like our dad."

Finally, our family was complete.
