"Hey Dad "I greeted while getting into the car
"Hey honey, how was your first day at school? " he asked me while fastening his seat belt and I did the same
"not as evil as I expected " I answered and he laughed
"mmmh I see... And I saw you were on a staring contest with some biker"he stated matter of factly
"I don't know what you are talking about dad" I said looking out the window
"well I know you know what I'm talking about so tell me... What was that all about?" he continued looking at me suspiciously.
"it was nothing. Now can we go? Am starving. "I replied and with that he pulled out the packing lot_sweet baby Jesus thank you for small favours.
The drive home was silent and I couldn't be more grateful . I'm not so close to my dad though I must mention that he is a very strict man_very strict.
Am closer to my mom though not so close but if I was to compare whom I'm closer to it's definitely my mom.
You might be wondering why I'm not so close to my parents. Well my dad is never home, he works as an undercover cop so he is mostly on the move. Mom, well she is a wedding planner and she's known as one of the best wedding planners meaning she travels around the globe just to plan people's weddings.
So that's about my parents but apart from that they are really cool and nice people.
"we're here "my dad spoke as he was packing in front of the house
"God I'm starving "was all I said getting out of the car and making a run for the stairs.
The house was really beautiful. We only got here a few weeks ago and I was hoping deep inside of me that this was going to be the last time we moved and that this was going to be our home.
Getting inside, I kicked my shoes off and went direct to the kitchen to fetch me some lunch and then I remembered mom said she was going for a meeting _damn it!
"I ordered pizza it will soon be here "dad chuckled upon seeing my state
"oh thank God! " I jumped and we both laughed.
A few minutes later someone rang the doorbell and I went to check who it was. I was glad to see the pizza delivery guy ,I paid him the money and collected the pizza. Setting the pizza box on the living room table, I went to the kitchen to get some juice for myself.
Walking back to the living room I was shocked at the sight of him devouring the pizza _yes I mean my dad
He never ate pizza at all
"what? Am hungry too "he said with his mouth full
"clearly " I laughed and he joined in
We ate silently the only sound being the noises coming from the TV show my dad was watching _how does he do that.
When I'm eating I don't like distractions, I like to focus on my food and all the people who know me know better than to come between me and my food
When I was done eating I looked up only to find my dad had passed out _aaah... When did that happen?
I cleared the table, put the dishes in the sink and decided to go up to my room and take a nap. Walking up the stairs is a struggle especially when you are stuffed but somehow I managed to get to my room and got on the bed. Instantly, sleep took over me like a wave and I fell into a deep slumber.

**Blake's POV**
I walked in class_ late as usual
Only to find someone in my seat. Every student in my class knows that nobody is allowed to sit there so I knew immediately that whoever it was must have been a new student. I moved closer and realized it was a girl and she was talking to Jace?_right
"who the hell is she and what is she doing in my seat? "I spat furiously
She looked at Jace and they seemed to have a silent exchange and she shrugged him off trying to look unfazed by my presence but I could tell she was afraid.
She turned her head slowly looking up and finally making eye contact with me and I don't know what happened but I felt so calm instantly. All my anger gone upon looking into her eyes and at that moment I knew she was going to be the death of me.
I quickly scanned the room in search of a spare seat and I saw one in the front row_in the fucking front row _just great
With one glance at her I walked away and took a sit. Miss Brown gave me a surprised look and I was certain all the students mirrored her expression because I heard some whispers _what the heck?
Why are they so surprised?
Okay yeah maybe it is surprising that I chose not to fight her or say mean things to her but I was just being nice__ Wait did I just say nice? I was being nice? Wow she really is going to be the death of me.
The lesson went by quickly and I swear I heard nothing Miss Brown was saying all I could think about was her. Brown hair, forest green eyes, plump lips _God the things I could do to those lips..The siren went off snapping me out of my thoughts and I quickly gathered my belongings and went out of class.
I got to the cafeteria and decided to find Jace. I didn't miss the weird stares from the other students mostly because I was never seen in the cafeteria_like never
and as if he knew I was looking for him Jace started walking in my direction and he took me to his usual table I think.
"dude what the hell are you doing here?you are never in the cafeteria " Jake asked looking so surprised
"I know man I just thought I should pass by you know see how everything is done around here " I answered looking around mostly searching the room.
Jace must have noticed me looking around because the moment I finally looked at him he had this knowing look on his face and he was giving me this smug smile_ I could slap him right now
"she's not here man, I know she is the one you came here for " he said smirking
"what are you talking about? I just came to see how things are done around here and now that I've seen I'm out of here " I replied and stood up too quickly walking away trying my best to hide my disappointment .

The last period went by quickly and I couldn't be happier. I got on my bike and as I was putting on my helmet I saw her. She must have felt my gaze because she spotted me_damn
I quickly fixed the helmet and took off leaving a trail of dust behind me.
