Day 6

Today was the end of everything.

The end of his misery.

The end of their friendship, officially.

But it's the start of her misery.

She don't think she can heal easily this time, to tell the truth.

Anyone might bring her first rejection up but it's different this time round.

She could get over the first because he was there for her, with her through those scary and painful nights.

He was there to listen to her rants, telling him how much she hated the first guy she confessed to.

But now,

No one's there to help her move on.

He's no longer with her.

He left her alone in darkness.

He once said she has the rest of their mutual friends to get her out of her pain.

But they can't know about the fact that he has already left everyone.

She promised him not to tell anyone (though promises are meant to be broken).

Irony.

And she'll bring this secret with her even till the day she leave this world.

For the whole of today, she wasn't herself.

The fact that he left the group became realer to her.

Day by day.

Bit by bit.

It just eats into her, killing her slowly.

She got to admit that, although he said it isn't because of her that he chose to left the group.

But she still feels that it's her.

And she's gonna trust her gut feeling this time.

He must've thought a lot during those days.

From trying hard to carry on talking to her without feeling awkward, to putting everything in good words just to minimize the pain for her.

She, however, hoped that he speaks his mind freely, even if he were to use harsh words on her, like real harsh.

Than to make everything so beautiful for her and leave.

If he were to use harsh words on her, she might even heal faster.

Though it'll bring her greater pain at first.

She should've get the hint when he complained about how tired he was back then.

Now that he left,

Now that he broke free from her,

She hopes that he'll find someone better.

Someone who loves him wholeheartedly.

Although her heart is still aching at this point of time.

It's hard asking someone with a broken heart to fall in love again.
