jane wanted nothing more than a relaxing sleep. right now, her eyes were in the brink of shutting close. she grabbed the coffee mug from her table and took one last sip out of it, and soured at how bitter and cold it had become.
"one last time, then i'll take nap" she thought to herself and cracked her knuckles and her neck. she sighed and put her fingers on the laptop, ready to type in her thoughts.
"-As you'll see in my enclosed resume, my education and qualification match the requirements listed in your ad. I feel confident that I am a very qualified candidate for this position and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the possibility of my joining your staff. jane cringed at how formal she had to become in order to get a job. it seemed like it wasn't her.
she slammed shut the laptop after saving her 28th draft, for the last, final time. she removed her specs and rubbed her left eye.
"perhaps I should sleep now"
the faint sound of the airplane engine was soothing. she embraced herself and put herself in a more comfortable position.
she let her thoughts fall as she felt a sudden wave of tingles doing down her spine. and she loved it.
she found herself snoring in a fraction of a second.
in a few hours, she would begin a new life.
a new, horrendous life.
