jane and hyebin spent rest of the day with each other. the night had finally set in. cue in the generic roof-scene clique
"hope you've brought a lot of warm clothes, it's gonna get below 0 during winters ya know"
jane simply nodded and assured the brunette. she remembered the jacket and the incident behind it.
"you know when I was departing the airport, I bumped into a guy."
"really?" hyebin pretended to be interested. she was busy admiring the night city.
"yea. i dropped my stuff and he picked it up for me. his face was fully covered tho, as if he was some celebrity..."
"wow nice." hyebin blankly replied.
jane paused for a moment and nodded when she realized hyebin wasn't interested.
"anyways, tell me about your job here. any details yet?"
jane's face turned visibly sad. she knew her chances of getting the job might be less because she didn't have ALL the qualifications.
"i dunno, they didn't update me yet"
hyebin gave an understanding nod and said-
"downtown there's a famous coffee shop. it's called 'The Busy Bean' and right now they need some baristas. perhaps you can work there until you get a proper job?"
jane closed her eyes and let the gentle cool breeze run through her. she pondered over the suggestion.
"that's not a bad idea. when are they hiring?"
