In this tutorial, I'm going to show you guys how I currently highlight the face. Let's get started~

1. Open new canvas and add the photo of your desired faceclaim or open the picture directly from the main page.

2. Smudge / blur the face to smoothen out the skin. Contour the face of the faceclaim. (There's a tutorial in contouring here as well)

3. Add a new layer and set its blending mode to Add. Select the Airbrush (Trapezoid 20%) brush and set it to color white.

4. Increase the size of the brush (preferrably 100+, depending on the face) and lower the opacity (below 60).

Then with the guide above, highlight the cheeks, nose and chin (include forehead if necessary and if it fits)

Then with the guide above, highlight the cheeks, nose and chin (include forehead if necessary and if it fits). For the base highlights, it shouldn't show a concrete shape, that's why the airbrush is used here.

5. Add a new layer and set its blending mode to Add. After that, select the Pencil (Graphite) brush and set it in color white. Then turn on the force fade up to 100% for both start and end.

6. Reduce the brush's opacity (preferrably below 40). Also the brush size must be small. As always, base the brush's size on the face. Then draw a curve along the upper cheeks, like this:

7. With the curve you made at #6, brush its center a few times more, so that it will show a more visible short line of white. Like this:

Apply step #7 to the other cheek, to the tip of the nose, the nose bridge, the chin, and also to the eyebrows, etc
