"My Poetic Self" Best Poetry

What inspired you to write poetry?

I always loved rhymes and the music they generate, so I gave it a try when I was thirteen. I found out that the words were flowing instantly and my teacher was amazed!

What is a unique topic or theme that you commonly incorporate in your poetry?

Anything related to nature and different human feelings because I think they deliver a strong message as well as being relatable to many people so they touch hearts along with the minds.

How do you come up with the words to write your poetry?

I actually don't force them; I hold my pen and my paper and begin the first word and the rest of the poem keeps showering in my mind. Sometimes I'm writing about an experience or something I've seen and left a mark.

What are your thoughts on these words: "There's light at the end of the road, just like a frog comes from a toad"?
(This is a line from one of your poems)

I think there's actually a light in the end of each dark road; there must be a happy ending even if it took too much to be revealed only if we remembered to turn on the lights as Dumbledore said :)

What is your advice to other poets?

To love what they're writing unconditionally, and to continue writing even if you're the only one who reads your poems!
