#18 Junkyu

You ran to your refrigerator as you felt your stomach growl because of hungriness. You were so busy with school works that you even forgot to eat something. You opened your fridge to see nothing on it. Why was it still open though? You immediately change your clothes and got ready to go out. You'll die starving if you stay.

As you open your door, you saw a guy who just opened his own door too. It was Junkyu. Your uhmm — let's say ex-boyfriend? Yes. He is. An ex-boyfriend who lives next door.

You looked at each other for a moment. No one's talking. It seems like you're stunned in each other's presence. Even if he lives next door, you haven't seen him for weeks.

He's looking good with his hoodie and jogging pants — it is always your favorite look of him. He's just so cute and so boyfriend material. But yea, you already broke up.

You suddenly came back to your senses and you realized you're looking at him for too long.

"Uhh — " you both said. Now, it became awkward. "W-where are you going?" He suddenly asked — looking at you. "The s-store... gonna grab some food." You answered and you're about to get out from that atmosphere when — "Let's go there together." He said.

You were sitting on a table of the convenience store — enjoying your ramyeon. It was a cold night, you need something to warm you.

"Hey." Suddenly, Junkyu sat on the chair across the table — infront of you. You watched him sit there and he was about to eat when you suddenly spoke. "What the hell are you doing here?" He looked at you and he smiled.

He...smiled. Shit, what is this that you feel? Are you...missing him?

"Why the hell are you shouting?" He jokingly said. You rolled your eyes. "There are many other tables Junkyu." You said and he looked around. But then he started to eat. "Ya!" You called him. "Oh there is? I didn't see any." He continues to eat. You looked around to see that there are so much tables available. It's nearly 12AM, you're the only people here in the store. Now, you're annoyed.

"Hahaha you're still cute when you're annoyed." He said while laughing. He really enjoys making you irritated. You looked at him as you hear the sound of his laugh. It's been months since you broke up — and yes, you missed him so much.

You believe in the saying that 'Exes can't be friends.' Lol, is there even a saying like that? Anyways, you still believe it and — you don't understand why Junkyu is acting like this. You're over. He can't just be friends with you again.

He realized what he just said — noticing your blank stares to him. He faked a cough.

"I'm done." You said and was about to stand up when suddenly he stood up too. "Wait." He handed you a.. rose? You're not taking it but he took your hand. You realized, it's a chocolate carved into a rose. You looked at him. W-why is h-he giving you t-this?

"Happy Valentine's Day." He said looking through your eyes. "You love chocolates."

You were shocked. You didn't even know it's Valentine's. You looked around the store to see the hearts and cupid being hanged on the walls, love songs being played and this chocolate given by Junkyu.

Junkyu was standing next to you. You've always loved both of your heights. You perfectly fits into his chest when you hug each other. You loved playing with his hair, you loved how he clothed, you loved his smiles & laugh, you loved his voice — now that he said it, you realized you still love him...too.

"W-why?" You asked while looking at the chocolate.

It's February 14...

He called your name and you looked at him.

"You won't be spending this day with other guys. I want you to spend this Valentines and the next Valentines with me." He said and he pulled you into a tight hug. "I still love you." He whispers to your ear. You missed him so much and you found yourself hugging him back.
