Chapter 1

All my life I, Camila Marie Garcia have been compared to my younger step sister Rosalie. It was always the same thing, why aren't your grades as good as Rosalie, Rosalie graduated top of her class why didn't you apply yourself harder to graduated top of your class, if you went to college like Rosalie did you would have a wonderful house and car like hers and last but not least, why can't you find yourself a nice husband like Rosalie. It never stops and it only got worst after my dad died. My dad was always on my side, he was my best friend but after he died my step mom made sure to give me all the hell she held back on for all those years. It sucks when your parent, step or not, makes you feel worthless even though they claim to love you just the same. I could be petty and say the fact that Rosalie has a wonderful house and car is because she married a man with money or I could argue that I'm happy but my step mom never listens or cares. I am happy with my life. Yes I work at a diner but I brought my own car and my own house by myself without the help of my parents or gifts from my rich husband.
