SPOTLIGHT!
●●●
Mackenzie Ziegler hated Mondays, though it was the last week of school before summer break. She always had and always would. Knowing that she had to survive five days in the hell hole called school, made her squirm uncomfortably as she sat in the passengers seat of her older sister, Maddie's car.
The hickeys were still a bit visible on the brown-eyed girls neck, but she had tried to cover them up with make up, and she decided to pair her outfit with a scarf that gave more protection to keep people from seeing the hickeys.
The car ride was silent, Maddie focussing on the road while her younger sister was silently sipping on her cream frappucino that she bought when they got some starbucks.
When the Ziegler sisters finally pulled up in the parking lot of Mackenzie's school, she wished her older sister a good day and hopped out of the car after she gave her a small kiss on the cheek. She waved her sister as she drove away, before she turned on the heel walking towards the schools entrance.
"Look who we got here, Kenzie my dear, good morning!"
A too familiar voice was heard behind her. The green-eyed boys voice sounded profusely, enthusiastically, as if he couldn't be happier. Seems as if at least one of the duo had a good morning. The brunette stopped in her tracks and turned around, smiling at her best friend.
"Morning." she said and recognized that the boy was holding something in his hand. "What are you doing, Johnny?"
Confusingly, she looked into the camera, shocked as to what the hell he was doing with that thing.
"I'm vlogging, say hi."
Mackenzie recalled her recent conversations with Johnny and remembered that he had told her about youtube and all that stuff. She quickly put a smile on her face and looked back into the camera, doing how she was instructed, before she turned back to her best friend.
"Wanna have the rest of my frappuccino?" She offered, showing him the drink.
He gladly accepted, taking it from her hand and sipping on it. He turned his face to the camera again before he spoke.
"Sipping the tea boys." His eyes immediately flickered to the girl besides him and she obviously knew what he was referring to. "By the way, nice scarf, Kenz."
The brunette unnoticeably tensed up. If that camera wasn't recording everything, she would've glared at him, calling him an asshole, because obviously he was amused about it, when it was only unnecessary stress for Mackenzie.
