"Understand this I'm not looking for true love tonight, if you wanna be my little baby you can meet me in the pale moonlight."Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight - Lana Del Rey
I could feel my palms sweating as I sat on the edge of the couch, peering out the window waiting for his arrival. This was a stupid idea all together. I need to just learn how to say no to people. I've always had trouble with doing that. I just feel a constant need to make everyone happy. I want to be liked by everyone and I want everyone to trust me. The trust part probably comes from my work with my father. He had always felt the need to beat it into my head that in this line of work you need to gain everyone's trust, it was a really important thing for him, loyalty. I've always had these little mental goals every time I meet someone new. Esepcially if it was someone I began to have an interest in, I always want to make them happy.
I could hear the sound of a car pulling through the gravel driveway. I stood up abruptly and looked out the window before I realized he could probably see me, I moved over to the side only peeking out. I watch as he parks the car and sits for a moment before getting out. He's dressed in dark clothing and has dakr sunglasses covering his eyes. As he stands from the car, I watch as he shuts the door and swifty runs his fingers through his hair. He pulls his sunglasses up and pushes his hair back with them before turning to me and twinkling his fingers a little, indicating he sees me. My eyes widen as I give him a small wave before turning back from the window. Oh my god, why am I sweating so much? Okay pull yourself together bitch. I move towards the door to open it the same time he does.
"Well hello there." He smiles at me.
"Hi Harry, come in." I give him a small smile back as I pull the door open wider.
"Don't act so shy now." He gives a little laugh as he pulls the sunglasses from the top of his head and tucks them into the inside breast pocket of his dark leather jacket. "We're just hanging out."
"Yeah, I'm not nervous." I tell him as we make our way over to the couch.
"Hmm." He hums, not believing me. "Are you trying to tell me, or yourself that? This is a cute little place you've got." He looks around the small living room.
"Thank you, I'm sorry if its a little messy," I rush out before he cuts me off.
"It's cute. Tell me, are we home alone? Or is daddy somewhere watching over you?" His eyebrows quirk up as he laughs a little. "I'd love to say hello."
To my father? This bitch has got to be joking right now. He must notice my sudden panic because he cuts my thoughts off with a laugh.
"Seeing how you're best friends with my mum, it only seems fair." He watches as I start to relax slightly.
"Right, well lucky for both of us he isn't here at the moment. We are alone, yeah." I speak as I sit down beisde him on the couch. He had already made his way over to sit down while I still stayed awkwardly standing in the middle of the room.
"Oh lucky are we, huh? What did you have in mind for us tonight?" He raises a brow as he smirks at me.
"You tell me, you're the one so adament about us seeing each other so soon." I laugh as he relaxes against the couch some more.
"I may have had a few things in mind." He says as he folds his hands behind his head. "Are you sure you're not a virgin or something? I'm not even saying anything directly and you're squirming." I hear a small laugh come from him as he looks over to me.
"Oh no, I am definitely not a virgin." I laugh as I roll my eyes.
"Why'd you say it like that? What, got a high body count or something?" He raises a brow in interest.
