I'm a youtuber.... GET ME OUT OF HERE

Part 1- The first four!

Harper's POV

I couldn't believe what i'd gotten myself into; i'm a youtuber get me out of here! I didn't know how I exactly felt; nervous? Anxious? Ecstatic? Excited? There was just so many thoughts running through my head. So many emotions. What the hell was I doing signing up for this?! Why was my head at when I agreed to it?!

I was riding in a speedboat in the middle of the ocean, being driven to my destination. I felt the cool drips of water, spitting onto my bare arms. Now if we were in the UK, especially London-where I was born, raised and still lived in- I would've hated that. It's cold to start with in London so the added chill would have made me even more annoyed. But with the Australian climate, the cool specks of water are a lovely blessing.

Now, onto who I really am.

Yes, you all know i'm a youtuber, since i'm taking part in i'm a youtuber get me out of here. But let's hear about the real me;

My name is Harper Freeman, i'm a twenty two year old youtuber, vlogger and author from London. I have over twelve million subscribers on my youtube channel and i'm grateful for each and every one of them. I live alone; I moved out of my family home four years ago when my youtube career started to really succeed. I have a book series out and i really hoped that after taking part in the jungle, I could do an autobiography.

Although i was on camera a lot, i was still quite insecure. I didn't really believe in myself which was also because of my high levels of anxiety. I was hoping that was one of the things I could improve on. I mean, if being thrown into the Australian jungle can't challenge your anxiety, nothing can.

The speedboat arrived at a huge, gorgeous, crystal-white yacht. It was a stunning sight. The driver of the speedboat helped me up the steps on the boat.

"Thank you" I smiled at him gratefully.

He gave me a smile and sped off in the boat into the distance.

I grabbed a cocktail from the tray and waited, watching the gorgeous view the landscape provided.

After a few minutes, I was dragged out my thoughts by the familiar sound of the speedboat. A nervous feeling suddenly fizzed in my stomach.

Was this the first campmate I was going to meet?

How would they be with me?

Would they be nice?

Would they like me?

I saw footsteps and then a body to match them. It was a man. A man with mousy brown hair wearing black skinny jeans, and a gorgeously clean white button up shirt.

He walked up to me.

"Hi i'm Joe" he said. "Joe Sugg"

We both shared a little hug.

"I'm Harper" I smiled.

"Lovely to meet you" he said.

It wasn't too long before we heard the sound of the speedboat again.

After a minute or so, a woman started walking up to us smiling.

"Hi i'm Niomi" she said. "Niomi Smart"

"I'm Harper" I smiled, giving her a hug.

"I'm Joe" Joe said, giving her a hug after me.

"Nice to meet you both" she said. "Please say i'm not the only one who's nervous"

"Trust me, i'm the same" I laughed.

"Me too" Joe said.

Once again, that familiar sound struck again. The sound of a speedboat.

A few minutes later, a man walked towards us grinning.

"Hey guys" he said cheerily. "I'm Oli. Oli White"

We all exchanged hugs and hellos.

Once again, the sound of the speedboat struck our ears.

Another campmate?

This time two people walked up to us; a man and a woman. But these weren't campmates; they were Dec and Holly.

"And welcome our first four campmates!" Dec said, grinning. "You all look lovely"

We all smiled and thanked him.

"Now as you can see , you're our first four campmates" Holly smiled.

"But, the luxury is all about to be gone" Dec said.

"Because now it's about to get down to business" Holly said.

"You're going to be split into two teams that will go head to head" Dec said.

"The winning team of the challenge will be able to pick the next two recruitments for their team" Holly explained.

"But" Dec said. "As losers can't be choosers, the losing team will get the campmates left"

"So, do you all understand?" Holly asked.

We all nodded and showed signs of understanding.

"Right, well Joe and Harper, you will be team yellow" Dec said.

"And Niomi and Oli, you will be team red" Holly said.

Joe and I stood together, with Niomi and Oli doing the same.

"We'll meet you at your first challenge" Dec said. "But for now, your chopper awaits you"

Dec and Holly got into their speed boat which sped off.

The helicopter arrived for us.

I couldn't believe it!

I was about to officially start my i'm a youtuber get me out of here journey!
