pony knocked on the door, a boy a little older than 19 opened it.

"we need to talk to dallas," pony was shaking.

"he's busy," the boy snarked.

"man just tell him it's  b, johnny and pony!" pony yelled.

"okay okay," the guy walked away.

we waited for a solid minute when the door swung back open to dally shirtless. i hid my blushing by looking away while the boys talked to him. we walked upstairs into the room dally always stayed in, the boys sat on the bed and i stood in the corner. i told the boys i was using the restroom and that i'd be right down.

"don't leave Be," Dally said, "you can't run away with the boys."

"w-why can't i," i asked.

"i have feelings for you, please, please don't leave."

"i have to i can't leave them."

Dally came up to me and kissed me, remember that he's 6 foot and i was 5'3 i was on my toes and dally was bending over. he kissed down my neck, leaving hickeys.

"dally!" i held my neck, johnnys going to find out.

"now you can't go," he smiled.

i flipped him off and left, bouncing down the stairs and grabbed a beer and left. dang, dally and i kissed, i hope that didn't affect anything.

"took you awhile, what did you do in there," pony laughed.

"i'm on my period, is that what you wanted to hear?" i snapped.

Pony and johnny looked away uncomfortably, i cracked open my beer.

"where'd you get that?" johnny asked, grabbing it out of my hands.

"give that back! i grabbed it from bucks," i said, snatching it back. i chugged it down, the boys were watching me. i crushed the can and threw it into the trashcan that had just magically appeared next to us.

"b... what's that on your neck," johnny pointed to one of the hickeys dally gave me.

"i-uh.. i burnt myself with my lighter," i said.

"those aren't lighter burns, they look different," pony asked.

"i did it with the flame! get off my case!" i started walking.

the boys started after me, we kept walking until we arrived at the train tracks at sun rise. we sat down for a bit and waited for the train to come through. i had almost fallen asleep when i heard the train coming. i sat up and watched the train grow closer and closer, the boys were standing next to me.

"now," pony yelled. we ran to the train and jumped into a box car, johnny and pony had jumped in and i was behind. they grabbed my hands, pulling me up, and sat me down in the middle of them. we sat down and fell asleep, johnny asleep on pony's shoulder, pony asleep on johnny's head, and i was asleep on johnny's lap, dally's jacket over my legs.

i woke up to johnny calling my name and shaking my shoulders.

"what- what!" i sat up irritably.

"we're here," johnny said, pony had hopped out of the train.

i put dallys jacket on and grabbed my lighter and jumped out, after me was johnny.

we had been walking for awhile, we came to see two older men, doing work.

"pony go an' ask em," johnny said.

"why can't you," he asked.

"ponyboy, we've been walking for awhile and my ankles hurt," he said.

"why can b do it," he said to me.

"do i look country to you," i pointed to my nose, where my piercing was.

He glared at us and turned around, the men gave directions to pony while we stood in the back. Pony walked back and showed us and we started walking again.

we had been walking for what felt like days, when we saw a little church on the hill. we looked at each other and smiled, and started running up to the church.

we ripped the planks off a window, and jumped in. the pews were dusty and the air smelled of old wood and dirt.

"home sweet home," pony said sarcastically.

"i'll go out and find firewood," i said, pointing to the empty fireplace. they nodded at me so i ducked under the nailed in planks and walked out of the church. i looked around for little sticks and straw, i found a couple large sticks and i also grabbed little ones. i ducked back through the planks and dropped the firewood next to the fireplace.

"thanks b," Johnny said. i nodded and sat down on the pew, my eye lids were heavy. i laid down and put dallys jacket under my head, my jeans and black button up shirt provided enough heat on my body.

I woke up to pony shuffling around in the morning sun.

"where's johnny," he said groggily.

"i dunno," i sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"be back in a bit," pony read off of something.

"i think he went to the corner store," i said.

"yeah," pony walked outside.

i tended to the fire, poking and prodding at the hot embers and adding more sticks to the fire. We were starting to get low so i walked outside and found more sticks. i had forgotten about the planks we ripped off yesterday so i grabbed those and walked back into the church.

"oh hey johnny," i dropped the firewood down and walked over to look in the box of stuff johnny got.

Johnny pulled out a beanie, fake glasses, and a brush.

"who are these for?" i asked.

"since you won't cut your hair your gonna have to make a few changes to your look," johnny pushed them to me.

"i ain't takin' out my piercing," i argued.

"you have to b," johnny looked at me.

i pouted, i was finally starting to like this piercing.

"i'll cut my hair," i said, this was probably going to look bad but i really didn't want to.

i took my hair out of my bun, it reached my waist. i went out and washed it with water and brushed it out. i watched Johnny cut pony's hair and then pony cut johnny's. i asked johnny to cut mine a little below my shoulders, so i could still put it into a bun.

He did just that, it was a little uneven but the knife wasn't very sharp. i put the beanie on my head and put on the glasses, i walked out to the broken mirror.

"i look hideous!" I turned around to johnny.

"i think you look good," Johnny smiled sympathetically.

"oh whatever," I rolled my eyes.

i walked back into the church and grabbed a cigarette from one of the boxes johnny had bought. i rolled off the beanie and took off my glasses and sat back on the pew. i held the lighter to the end and waited for it to catch fire, i took a long drag and looked up. i did O's with my mouth which made little rings. the rest i just blew through my nose.

It was later and johnny made baloney sandwiches, i hates meat but if i wanted to survive this i needed to eat it.

after i finished the disgusting sandwich i put more wood in the fire and laid down on the pew. pony pulled out the book called 'gone with the wind' and started reading it to johnny and i. My eyes started becoming darker and darker, the fire had emitted a soft warm ness, making the room feel like a sleeping bag. soon enough the world went black and i was asleep.

I was dreaming of what it was like at home, Johnny and i's parents not worrying, but darry stressing about all three of us. i could tell that he couldn't be sleeping, he was so busy thinking of where we could be. i dreamt of dally worrying sick of johnny and i, we were like the little siblings he never had. But now i wasn't so sure if he thought of me as a little sibling.
