I groaned as I slammed my pillow over my head. I look over at my alarm clock.
~3:27 am~
You have got to be kidding me. You wanna guess what's going on right now? Here I'll give you some hints. The floor is bouncing, there's loud music blaring through the walls, and every once in awhile there's people chanting, "CHUG CHUG CHUG!" Yup, you guessed it. He's having a freaking party. I can smell the alcohol and the sweaty people from here. Or maybe I'm just imagining me smelling it... I don't even know. All I know is I'm definitely not getting any sleep tonight.
"Oh sweetheart, I can hear you groaning from here! You better get used to it!" He chuckles.
I feel myself scream into the pillow as I throw it on the other side of the room and roll off the bed. I whimper as I hit the floor with a loud THUMP and quickly stand up. I stomp over and knock on his door, putting a fake smile, sickeningly sweet looking, on my face.
He opens the door, smiling at me also, looking like he's about to burst out laughing any second now.
"How's it going sweetheart? You wanna come in?" He smirks at me.
"Oh yes, I'd love to come in." I glare at him, pushing past his shoulder as I look around. Surprisingly there's no girls, just 6 guys, not including him. They all whistled when I came in and I rolled my eyes.
"Shut it," I snapped, glaring at them.
"Nice shorts ya got there sweetheart," He chuckled as my eyes widened and I tugged them down a bit, or well tried.
"You know what's weird? I don't even know your name and I already hate you." I shrugged as the other guys laughed slightly.
"Awh don't be like that, it's Williams, Carter Williams." He gave a cheeky wink and flashed me a smirk.
I sighed as I looked around. There were red solo cups on the ground, empty vodka and whiskey bottles filling the counters, and pizza boxes stacked up to the ceiling. How much pizza can 7 guys eat?
"Listen. I'm trying to sleep so if you could be a little more thoughtful and less loud, that would be great." I rolled my eyes and gripped onto the door handle, opening it and slamming it behind me. This better not be a daily occurrence.
...
My alarm blares at 7:30, awakening me from my slumber that lasted all of 45 minutes. Today I had an interview for a job I was interested in. I set it up before I moved since I can't just move with no income.
I got up, grabbed a towel, and went into the shower. It's my first time using this thing, I swear all showers are so different I have no idea how to work this.
After I finally got it to work and finished washing my hair and body, I hurriedly got dressed. I decided to wear a fitted black t-shirt and some dark blue jeans. It's just a server job so I wasn't worried.
I did my makeup and threw my hair in a slicked back pony. I grabbed my purse, threw on my sneakers and practically ran out the door.
I ended up being stopped by the one and only Williams, Carter Williams. See what I did there.
"Oh god what do you want now." I groan, seeing him walking towards me.
"Oh sweetheart I just wanted to apologize for last night. Maybe tonight you can join us instead of being such a lamo." He winked at me and I gave him a look of disgust.
"You know, because of you I only got like 3 hours of broken sleep. And I actually have a job interview to be at right now so I must be going." I pushed past him, swiping my shoulder with his.
I went to the parking garage and got into my car. I have an all black Chevy Camaro. It was actually my 18th birthday gift from my grandmother. She knew I loved cars.
I started it and drove off, getting more anxious by the second.
...
"You're hired!" The perky blonde said sitting in front of me.
I gave her a huge smile.
"That's great thank you so much!" I spoke with her some more and then grabbed my stuff and walked out.
When I got there I didn't realize how tight their uniforms were going to be. They weren't as revealing as hooters but they were dressed in all black, low v-necks with all of their cleavage on display. Their black tight jeans hugged these women's bodies like a glove. I'm more of a baggy tee girl but I guess this can help the tips and maybe my self confidence.
My first day is on Tuesday, today is Friday. I have a bit of time to relax before I start working, maybe I should take a walk around town and get to know the place.
I found a little coffee shop right on the corner of the street. I walk in and the little bell on top of the door rings signaling to the employees I was here. They turn their heads and smile at me while I return the smile, walking up to them slowly.
This place is adorable! The walls were painted with pictures of coffee and bakery goods, and they had a huge chalk board that presented the menu.
"Are you new to town? We only really get regulars here." The boy stood in front of me smiling, resting his elbows on the counter and leaning in towards me.
He was pretty cute actually. He looked about 21-22, with messy long brown hair and hazel eyes.
"Actually yeah I am, I just moved here yesterday."
"Great! We should be friends, I live not too far from here. I get off in like 5 minutes, maybe I can get you your coffee and show you around?"
"Yes I would love that! I'm Annabelle by the way." I mentioned, holding my hand out.
"I'm Trevor." He grabbed my hand and shook it lightly. "So what can I get for ya?"
"I'll take whatever is your favorite. I'm looking to try something new." I said, staring at the menu. Yeah there was no way I could decide.
"Coming right up." He winked and grabbed the cup, disappearing to the back.
I sat down at one of the little cafe tables, looking down at my phone. All of a sudden the chair on the other side was being pulled out and someone soon occupied it. That person was not Trevor.
