Michaelis and I exchanged glances outside the doorway of the room we were now (apparently) sharing. As I expected he would, Michaelis walked in first, and naturally I followed. A thick silence rapidly formed between us, owing to the deep feeling of intrusion that I certainly felt, and I doubted Michaelis was any different, given the fact he seemed to be trying to murder me with his eyes. It was a valiant, but ultimately unsuccessful attempt.
After getting changed, which Lucifer knows was impossibly embarrassing in of itself (I didn't think Michaelis would stare at me, and indeed I didn't look to check, but he could be incredibly perverse at times), I took off my glasses and got into bed, determinedly staring at the wall, trying desperately to ignore the fact that I had Michaelis in the room with me. This proved a little difficult when Michaelis decided to light a candle, so he could read, if the sounds of pages turning was anything to go by. Still, the day had worn me out enough so that it must have been around eleven in the evening when I dozed off, leaving Michaelis in peace.

It was pitch black when I awoke to the sound of a shrill screech - it sounded like Alois, Ciel didn't strike me as the screaming type. I fumbled for my glasses, darting out of bed alongside Michaelis, nearly tripping over my own ankles in my semi-conscious rush to see what was going on. Sure enough, I was barely out of the servant's quarters when Alois collided with me, wailing and trembling. Grabbing fistfuls of my nightshirt, he began choking out something utterly intelligible. Seeing as I was in front of Michaelis - and I could hear the sounds of the doors to rooms of the rest of the staff opening - I knew I couldn't just push him away and hope he stopped like I might have done with no one looking. "Your Highness?" Alois looked up at me with wide, watery, panic-stricken eyes.
"I-it was them!" Alois sobbed, before falling to his knees, dragging me down with him.
"Everyone stay put!" Sebastian commanded, before racing towards the stairs, Hannah not far behind, her skirts billowing out behind her. She at least seemed to understand Alois' cryptic message.
"Who?" Alois glanced quickly at who I could only presume were the Phantomhive servants, before biting his lip, and dissolving into tears again. I wasn't entirely sure if he meant it, or if he was just trying to get out of answering the question.
