Mink ran and ran for her life escaping and dodging Hyperion robots, engineers you name it. They were all after her.
Mink had hid in a tunnel with Stalkers in it and had taken form as one. She heard foot steps run over the top of the tunnel then a voice was heard.
"Sir we've lost the girl." It was one of the engineers speaking.
"Find her or you can say goodbye!" That was Handsome Jack's voice. Mink closed her eyes and stayed silent. She was praying that they wouldn't find her. The foot steps became faint and she sighed softly in relief.
Years had passed and Mink had become an expert in using her ability and fighting skills. Mink was about 15 now and had a scar across her nose from a Psycho hitting her in the face with his axe.
Mink was fleeing from Hyperions who had spotted her and had shot and injured her badly. A man wearing black with a red 0 on his chest and a helmet was watching her along with a woman with red short hair and markings on her arms.
Mink collapsed when she was shot again this time in the back. The Hyperions surrounded her and she shifted trying to get up. She took a painful kick to her side causing her to start coughing up blood.
"What do we do with a damned Shape-Shifter like you?" One of the Hyperions smirked grabbing her long frost white hair and pulling her had back painfully. She spat in his face and he punched her in the jaw breaking it.
A shot to the back took the one who had broke her jaw down to the ground. Mink's eyes were huge, blood from the Hyperion had splattered on her face. The man and woman attacked the Hyperions.
"Vault Hunters!" Cried a Hyperion. He charged the two and was Phaselocked and shot in an instant. Mink was shaking uncontrollably she was traumatized.
The man looked down at her then looked at the woman. The woman looked at Mink and placed a hand on Mink's side.
"Lets take her back to Sanctuary Zero." The man nodded and scooped Mink up in his arms. She just pressed her face against his chest and started crying.
"You're safe now..." Was all the man named Zero said.
