"What's taking Lilith and Zero so long?" Maya paced back and forth worried. Axton shrugged.
"They probably just-" he was cut off when the ECHO went off.
"We have a girl with us Zero and I are bringing her to Sanctuary now." Lilith was holding Mink close to her trying to calm the traumatized teenager. Mink was hanging onto her for dear life afraid of falling out of the Bandit Technical.
"You have a girl with you?" Maya sounded happy but worried at the same time.
"She's traumatized right now." Lilith felt bad for the girl. Mink was still crying into Lilith when the trio had reached Sanctuary. Zero scooped Mink up again. She was shaking bad. Maya ran out meeting them at the entrance to Sanctuary. She froze when she saw the girl snuggled up against Zero's chest beaten and bloody.
"What happened to her?" Maya stroked Mink's head gently. She kissed Zero's helmet on the side and looked back down at Mink.
"Hyperions are the ones responsibls for her condition." Zero started carrying Mink in. He took her into the Crimson Raider Headquarters. Everyone just stared the only one who helped Zero was Mordecai.
After a while Mink was laying on the couch between Zero and Lilith. She was bandaged and cleaned up and was fast asleep, her head reasting against Zero's leg.
"So she's a Shape-Shifter?" Gaige kept staring at Mink. Mink shifted and squirmed probably having a nightmare or just uncomfortable. Zero looked down at her, he had his helmet off, he nodded to Gaige's question.
"Poor girl is the last of her kind because of Jack." Mordecai winced as Mink's leg kicked him accidently. Everyone stared at her after what Mordecai had said.
Mink started muttering things in her sleep.
"M-mommy...! LET ME GO!" Mink's eyes flashed open and she sat up ready to fight. Zero hugged her gently trying to calm her down. Mink stared at him, fear shining in her eyes. Zero rubbed her back.
