Three Months Later

Luka and I have been together for six months, half a year. It's safe to say that I am very happy and content with our relationship. We sleep in the same bed, shower together, and go on dates like every Friday. He is amazing with Chris which makes me very happy. Chris adores him and loves playing with him.

Chris started school about three months ago and he loves every part of it. He made a lot of friends and always has sleepovers with his friends. He is in Pre-K but enjoys school a lot. I know when he grows into a teenager, he will definitely be complaining about wanting school to be over.

Luka left to go back to Chicago three weeks ago. He is suppose to be coming back next week. I miss him so much and Chris does too. He calls every morning to talk to Chris then stays on the phone with me for a hour or two before we sleep at night. I haven't talked to him this morning though.

"Mommy can I get apple juice" Chris asked running into the kitchen. I nodded and poured some for him.

"Don't run with it baby" I said and he nodded before saying thank you. He started drinking as he walked back to his room. I smiled and went back to cooking breakfast. I was making toast,eggs,bacon and grits. I rubbed my nose as my phone buzzed. I went toward it and saw it was Luka calling me.

"Hi Baby" I said happy in the phone when I answered.

"Hey baby girl" he chuckled into the phone. I smiled and held the phone as I stirred the grits.

"What's up?" I said checking the bacon.

"I need you to give the phone to Chris for me baby" He said into the phone and I frowned wanting him to talk to me. I walked to Chris room and saw him coloring.

"Here baby Lu is on the phone" I said as I gave him the phone. He smiled and took it saying hello into the phone. I could hear Luka saying something to him but I couldn't make out what he was saying. Chris turned to me when Luka was done talking.

"Mommy privacy" He whispered. My eyes widen and I raised my hands up in defense before walking out his rooms.

He must have gotten that from Luka because I know damn well I didn't teach him that.

I went back to my cooking and put the toast on plates. I put the bacon on another plate before doing the same with the eggs. Breakfast was ready. I opened the fridge and took the apple juice out putting it on the table along with the food. I yelled for Chris. A few seconds later, he came in the room with the phone to his ear.

"Uh huh...uh huh...okay" Chris said into the phone making me laugh. He climbed in his seat and gave the phone back to me.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Hey baby I have to go but I will see you soon" Luka said into the phone. I sighed and nodding forgetting that he couldn't see me.

"Okay" I said and hanged up on him. I sat down next to Chris and fixed his plate for him. He sent a thanks to me and began eating.

"Freyah!!" Aurora yelled as she walked into my house. I was washing the dishes from breakfast. I left a plate out for her out knowing she was going to come anyway.
