My Forever Girl

Chapter 1

It was a gloomy day summer Saturday as the girls was sitting on the tail gate of Bucky's grandpa's old truck that sits on the farm land. The boys were riding their dirt bikes as they were slinging the mud around then Maci pulled up on her 4 wheeler she took off her helmet covered in mud.

"What the heck happened to you?' Natasha said

"I got stuck in my driveway." she said as she got off of her 4 wheeler as she tried to fix her hair.

"Maci move." Wanda said

"What?'" she said cause she didn't  hear but it was to late Bucky slung mud.

Maci gasped as mud covered her from head to toe. She swallowed hard and said "Next time Wanda scream at me." 

Bucky stopped his bike and walked over to her and "I am so sorry Maci. I didn't mean to sling mud on you." 

"it's fine.. I was already half covered cause my stupid 4 wheeler got stuck in my driveway had to have my dad pull me out." she said as she rambled on. 

Bucky  only had his helmet lifted enough that you could only see his face but luckily no one could see his face as he smiled at her as she continuously looked down to clean what she could off her phone. "Your rambling Maci." he said

'Oh sorry." she said as she finally looked up at him. 

She went to grab her helmet and he said "Where are you going?'

"I'm going home to change." she said 

"Mac come on it's just a little mud don't be like that." Steve said behind Bucky.

"No I'll be back." she said as she started up her 4 wheeler and went to turn around and she was slinging mud from her back tire.

'Ugh not again." she said as she threw her helmet 

Bucky swallowed hard and dropped his bike then walked over to her and picked up her helmet then sat down behind her and showed her what she did wrong as nervous as he was being that close to her. 

"Thank you Buck." she said as he got off her 4 wheeler. 

"Welcome." he said then she took off back home. 

"Buck you alright." Sam said 

"Yeah I'm fine let's ride boys." he said as he got back on his dirt bike. 

Maci came back an hour later with her blonde hair in a braid with her glasses on and a pair of denim shorts with a camo t shirt and her boots. Bucky and the boys were still playing around in the mud on their dirt bikes. 

"How much longer are they going to play around like kids." Katie said (Sam's girl)

"I don't know but it's about to rain." Maci said

"Perfect. "Bucky said as he was getting a drink of water with his water.

"You think it's perfect that it's going to rain." Nat said

"Um yeah sure." he said when in reality he was talking about Maci's outfit. 

Then a few minutes later it started to come a down pour they all started to run towards the barn as they waited out the rain. Maci was talking to Natasha as Bucky was watching her as she took her braid out.

"You like her." Steve whispered 

"Shut up Steve." he whispered 

"But Buck I'm sure it's not hard to tell her she's pretty easy going probably the only one out of all the girls." Steve whispered.

"Yeah and I'm sure she doesn't feel the same way." he whispered. 

Meanwhile Wanda said "Maci what happened with you earlier? Normally you don't ramble that much." 

Maci looked down and said "Cause I was nervous I made myself look like a complete idiot not once but twice." 

"So? We know you have your blonde moments." Natasha said

Maci looked outside to see that the rain had let up and she grabbed her helmet and said "I'm going home." 

"Maci come on." Natasha said 

"Just forget girls okay." she said as she got on 4 wheeler and drove home. Took another hot shower and spent the rest of the day in her basement watching football with her dad and older brother Noah. 

Steve looked at Natasha after they got cleaned up and said "What did you say to Maci that pissed her off." 

"I don't know. All she said was she was nervous and that she felt like looked like an idiot twice. But I told her she didn't that we all know that she has her blonde moments." Natasha said 

Bucky was at his house in his garage cleaning his bike as his dad came out and said "Hey son have fun tearing up the farm." 

"Yeah I did." he said 

"Mom said dinner will be done in a few minutes." James said 

"Thanks dad." he said as he put the stuff up and covered his dirt bike up. He ate dinner then went downstairs to his room then he found his phone and pulled up Maci's name and texted her "I'm really sorry about slinging mud on you I feel awful." 

"It's fine I promise." she texted back.
