My Forever Girl

Chapter 5

The following day they went to Dr Taylor's office where they did another ultrasound and he said "Yeah we are definitely due in August. The heart beat is strong it's 165 and the baby looks good guys. Ms Carter this means that you can no longer cheer or dance or play softball till after you have the baby."

"No 4 wheelers too?'" Bucky said 

"4 wheelers are okay as long as she's safe with it no crazy off roading or anything like that. I would refrain from it till you are well into your 2nd trimester which starts at 16 weeks. I would say to get you two a book that you two can read together to learn everything about pregnancy and labor." Dr Taylor said

"Thank you Dr Taylor." Ben said 

Dr Taylor wiped the gel off her stomach and said "You are welcome Dr Carter." 

He gave them copies of the ultrasound and then told them to come back in 3 weeks. After that Winnie took them by the bookstore and she pulled all the books they needed to read as much as all 3 parents were against the whole idea of them being teen parents they knew that in order for them to succeed that they had support them. 

That night after having a family dinner together Ben was in the kitchen drinking a beer with James as Winnie cleaned up and cut the pecan pie she had made. Then they heard voices outside they looked outside to see Bucky and Maci in his clubhouse with the door open. They opened the door slightly and they heard them taking turns reading the "What to Expect When Expecting" book to each other. 

They didn't tell anyone why they weren't at school the day before when they went back the next day. Maci turned in her cheer uniform and dance uniform and softball uniform and only told the coaches who all 3 said they would hold her spot for her. Bucky didn't think it would be fair if he got to play his sports and she didn't so he turned in his uniforms for basketball and baseball and football and his coaches told him the same thing. 

Three weeks later they were back at the doctor's office again and Dr Taylor said "Baby is growing right on schedule and look now it's looking more like a baby. Now that you are 11 and half weeks.' 

After their appointment they went to school and Natasha said "Where have you two been all morning?' 

Maci moved her books even though she wasn't really showing but she was started to round and started to wear Bucky's shirt more so nobody knew. "We had a doctor's appointment." Bucky said 

"What's going on guys? First you all quit all your sports and the boys said you haven't been wanting to ride your dirt bike and I seen you put your 4 wheeler up." Wanda said 

Maci swallowed hard just as the boys showed up and Bucky said "Maci's pregnant." 

"What?' Natasha said 

Steve said "You two are having sex." 

Maci bit her lip and looked down "How in the hell did this happen?' Clint said

Bucky said "It doesn't matter okay now you all know we are going to Science class." as he grabbed Maci's hand and they walked to class.

"When did they have sex?' Steve said 

"Those two are the most private about their relationship. I wonder though why Bucky doesn't want us to know how she got pregnant I mean if a condom broke that's not embarrassing we all know that's a risk." Wanda said 

Later that day they were reading in his room when his mom knocked on the door and said "Um guys your friends are downstairs." 

"Oh ok." Bucky said as he saved their spot.

They came into his room and Steve said "I thought you were downstairs in the basement." 

"Well dad is doing some remodeling so I have to be up here in the guest room." he said 

"So are you going to tell us how this happen?" Sam said

"No I rather not tell you how I got Maci  pregnant." Bucky said 

"Come on Buck what could be so embarrassing. I mean did a condom break or did her birth control fail?'Steve said 

Maci bit her lip and said "I"m not on birth control." 

"Well then did a condom break." Clint said 

"No.." Maci said 

"You two weren't using protection." Natasha said 

Maci wiped some tears and said "We did just not what most people consider protection." 

Bucky said "I tried to pull but as much I did pull it wasn't fast enough we lost our virginity the weekend of Thanksgiving when we were in Macon at my grandma's house I forgot my condoms." 

"Buck.. you tried to pull on your first time." Steve said 

He looked down and said "Hence why I didn't want to talk about it." 

"I'm sorry I didn't mean for that to come off mean." Steve said 

"We kept doing it that way cause it felt so good without a condom cause we tried it with a condom and it didn't feel as good." Bucky said 

"I'm really hungry" Maci whispered in his ear.

He smiled and said "Come on my girl let's get you something to eat." 

They got up off his bed and their friends followed them downstairs and Bucky made her some hamburger helper like she showed him. Steve said "So why is your dad remodeling the downstairs." 

"Because Maci and I are going to be living downstairs with the baby." Bucky said as he waited for the hamburger to brown.

"You are going to be living here Maci?' Natasha said

"I have too. You know how my dad's job is some nights I'm home alone and Noah has gone back to college and of course mom ran off 3 years ago I don't really have anyone to help me." Maci said 

"How long have you two known about the pregnancy." Sam said 

"A month." they both said in unison. 

"I'm 11 and half weeks and I'm due in August." Maci said 

"Oh wow." Natasha said 

"Yeah.." Maci said 

Bucky started to mix everything together in the skillet then put the lid on and he said "Now that you all know please stop asking me questions about why my girl is showing up in my shirts." 

Once they left and her food was done Bucky made their plates and ate their dinner.
