My Forever Girl

Chapter 8

-2 years later-

It was the day of Leah's 2nd birthday they were celebrating her birthday in a mermaid theme party. Winnie got a picture of Bucky standing behind Maci as Leah smashed her cake and smiled. James saw the picture and said "They have grown so much." James said 

As her party came to a close Maci said "Leah has something that she wants to tell you all." 

They all looked at them and Leah said "Mama has a baby in her belly." 

Bucky kissed Maci with a smile and he said "This one was planned. She's 12 weeks today and she's due in February." 

"Oh my gosh." Winnie said 

"Man your honeymoon must of been a hell of a time" Clint said

"Shut up Barton.. spending it in Cancun just us two was a nice break." Maci said 

Bucky kissed Maci and said "My forever girl just like I knew you would be baby." 

She smiled "You sure about that. I do still have my moments of rambling on and on." 

He kissed her and said "Wouldn't have you any other way baby." 

She kissed him then they started to clean up the kitchen of their apartment that they rented close to the college and the auto shop.  About a month later they found out that they were expecting a baby boy. 

They had everyone over and said "Okay Leah find the cupcake with a color inside." 

Leah started to smash cupcakes then she found the cupcake with blue inside and Maci said "Good job Leah you found the blue cupcake that means you are getting a little brother." 

Bucky took Leah to get her cleaned up while Maci cleaned up the kitchen and Winnie came over and said "A boy you know that means his name has to have James in it right."

"Oh I know Bucky told me that when I got pregnant with Leah" Maci said as she licked icing off her fingers. 

"You two I'm so proud of you both." Winnie said as she hugged her.

"Well I have you and James to thank for that. You all took me in and showed me something I never saw growing up and that's love true love and I see so much of what you all instilled in him in our marriage he's a great husband and a great dad to Leah and now he will be to this one. Seeing you and James the past two years made me believe in love." she said 

"Oh honey." Winnie said as she hugged her again as Maci started to cry as she hugged Winnie. 

"Mom what did you do to my girl to make her cry." Bucky said 

"Just talking honey she's pregnant she's going to be emotional." Winnie said 

That night in the shower he joined her and said "Now that I have you alone what had you so upset when you were talking to my mom." 

"I just she was talking about how proud of us she was and I told her that I have her and your dad to thank because when I moved in and I saw how much in love your parents were with the dancing at night and the romantic dinners and randomly buying your mom flowers then you started to do those things for me. I mean you know how it was at my house my mom was cheating a lot and I never saw any of that I was scared to fall in love that's why I never dated anyone and why when I started to like you I was scared and nervous especially cause my mom had just up and left one night while my dad was working at the hospital." she said 

"Oh baby doll" he whispered as he kissed her 

"And I got scared when I was pregnant with Leah cause I didn't know how to be a mom cause I had a very crappy mom but your mom helped me so much with Leah. That when we decided to move I was finally able to let go of my fear that I was going to fail at this." she said 

He kissed her and he whispered "You are an amazing mom and wife darlin don't ever doubt that" as he picked her up and put her against the shower wall and they started to have sex in the shower. 

On February 20th Maci gave birth to their son after 6 hours of labor and they named him "Aiden James Barnes." who came out looking like he was dug out of Bucky's butt.
