My Forever Girl

Chapter 7

Maci went 3 days past her due it was labor day weekend they were all out at Bucky's house eating hamburgers and hot dogs she was sitting on his lap with his hand on her baby bump. "Baby I'm really tired I'm going to go lay down." she whispered 

"Okay I'll be in to check on you in a few minutes." he said as he kissed her. 

She laid down and Bucky came in a few minutes later to find her sleeping in their bed then laid down beside her. About an hour later she woke up and said "ow oh god..Buck wake up get your mom hurry." as she screamed through more pain.

Winnie came running down stairs and timed her contractions then said "Bucky load up the car now." 

"Yes ma'am" he said as he grabbed the bags and the car seat then put them in his mom's car. James and Winnie helped her up the stairs after WInnie got her some clothes on. They got her in the car Bucky held her hand all the way to the hospital as she cried in pain. Once they got her to the hospital they gave her an epidural cause she was at 5 cm dilation. 

She was able to finish her nap as the nurses periodically checked her cervix. Bucky slept next to her as he heard his daughter's heartbeat through out the room. After 14 hours of labor they welcomed their daughter "Leah Grace Barnes" into the world at 445 in the morning. The nurse brought her to them once they got her cleaned up and measured then placed her in Maci's arms.

Bucky helped her with her hospital gown then she got Leah to latch. That night while he was holding Leah while Maci slept he changed Maci's ringtone from "Thunder in The Rain." to "My Girl" by Dylan Scott. 

"Now daddy has two girls to love." He whispered as he kissed Leah's nose. 

A few days later they got to go home and they worked together as a team taking care of Leah. Bucky got a job working for his dad at his auto shop since they asked if they could be home schooled. One night when Leah was two months he came home to find both of them sleeping on their couch. He very carefully picked up Leah then changed her and put her in the swing then started to make supper while he let Maci sleep a little longer. 

She started to wake up when she smelt food and she walked over to him. "Hey." she whispered

"Hey beautiful I changed her when I got home." he said 

"Thanks." she said as she kissed him 

"How did your doctor's appointment go?' he said

"Oh it went good I got the shot I go back every where 3 months to get it renewed." she said 

"And are we good to go now." he whispered

"OH yeah." she whispered

"Dinner can wait." he said as he turned the burner off and he chased her into their bedroom. "Buck we have to use condoms for the first 7 days so I got you some." she said 

"I don't care I just want to have sex." he said as he opened the box and put one on then he was on top of her and in her then they started kissing  as he moved in and out of her. Then he filled the condom as he kissed her "God I love you baby." he said 

"I love you too." She said 

They both got dressed then went back out and he said "So how did her appointment go?'

"OH my gosh please don't ever make me do that again by myself. I cried Buck they had to give her shots and she was screaming." she said 

He kissed her and said "Baby I'll go with you next time." 

That night after they were done with dishes and getting baby girl asleep he turned down some music outside by the hot tub they had the baby monitor on the picnic table as they danced under the stars that night was their old high school's homecoming dance.
