え? ZOMBIE? (What? Zombie?) [ on pause ]

My story time!

"Bye!" I said to Ghost and Jeri across the screen. I ended the call with them as I looked at my doctor " Did you end the call イオ?" Mr.Katsuragi asked. I jump of my seat and run towards him " Yeah! I ended the call!" I cheerfully say to Mr.Katsuragi. " So what are we going to do today?" I asked while jumping up and down. "Stop jumping イオ...how many times do I have to tell you?" Mr.Katsuragi said in a angry tone. "Hehe.. Sorry.." I say while smiling nervously. Mr.Katsuragi then flip our schedule book and then smiled a little "Were going outside today" Mr.Katsuragi says in a happy tone. "WHAT?! Outside?!!!! I-is it okay??? Like outside OUTSIDE?!!!" I hugged Mr.Katsuragi. I was so happy!! I can finally see all my friends! Mr.Katsuragi blushed and made me let go of him " Shhh be quiet! C'mon are you coming with me outside or not?" Mr.Katsuragi said with a smile while offering me a present. " whoah! But it's not my birthday! My birthday is next week!" I said tilting my head. Mr.Katruragi smiles and passes it to me. " wah!" I quickly catch it and open it. "I-is this really for me?!!!" I squealed as I held the brown fluffy coat inside. Mr.Katsuragi nodded " you have boots too" I quickly wore the boots and the coat. It was so fluffy that I could melt inside it! Every time i stepped with my new boots it felt like I was walking on the clouds! Mr.Katruragi got ready too , he was wearing a big brown jacket and black shoes. " are you ready?" Mr.katsuragi said as he took my hand. My eyes were filled with hoped and excitement "I'm ready!" I said as i held Mr.Katsuragi's hand.

Katsuragi's Pov

"Are you out of your mind Katsuragi?!! Your going to let Io the girl who can kill people go outisde?? " I heard Alex scream with his hair swirly as ever. I groaned and sighed heavily " Look Alex... I'm not letting a child just sit inside this hospital and rot." I said as I look at him dead straight in the eyes. Alex looked worried and placed his hand on my shoulder " look i'm not stopping you okay? I'm just worried man... I-I just don't want to lose another..person..."
Alex said sadly. " There is no way I'm letting Io die Alex.. If that's what your saying.." I sighed. " This time.. I'm sure I can fix her.."

" Mr.Katsuragi!! Is this grass?!!" Io asked me while pointing at the grass. " Well yes it is..." I said while scanning the park. The park seemed okay and there weren't much people as I thought. I guess it's kind of small so I'm guessing not much people come around here. " Mr.Katsuragi can I eat gra-" " No."

It seemed like keeping Io alive was a little difficult because she would try to eat and touch everything she sees.
I'm glad she's curious but still...Who tries to eat bees?
After we ran around the park I let Io drink her medicine " Why is it blue? isn't it supposed to be white?"
Io asked suspiciously. " It's your new medicine..now hurry up and drink it so we can walk outside more." I passed Io some water that I kept in my bag. " All done! Now where are we going?" Io shined me a smile. " Hmm.. Are you hungry Io? You haven't had lunch yet right?" Io's stomach rumbled. Io wraps her arms around her stomach " I'm hungry.."
"Alright let's go get some food okay?" "Yay! I want to get hamburgers! " Io said cheerfully. I carefully held her hand and looked at her worried "please let the medicine work..." I mumbled to my self.

We arrived at McDonald's and luckily there was not much people. " Io keep that mask on" I said to Io who was trying to take of her mask. "Ehhhh but it's hot.." Io said sadly. I sighed and fixed it for her. We then ordered our food and sat on the table. " Is that all your going to eat Mr.Katsuragi?" Io asked me as she munched on her ice cream. " I'm not that hungry anyway.. Also eat your dessert later" I pulled Io's ice cream away from her. She grumpily starters eating her cheeseburger. Her eyes were filled with happiness and she kept swinging her legs while she was eating it. "Is it good?" I asked her " mhmm!" She nodded happily. We kept eating as she bounced around of how good the food was I guess it's better than hospital food.

"So where are we goin' nesht?" Io asked me with a mouth filled with icecream. "Well let's get your birthday cake!" I smiled at Io. "Yay!!!" Io said then suddenly crossing the street while the light's were still red I quickly pull her out of the road before any car could hit her. My arm and legs hurted a bit by pulling Io out but I was fine. Just when I was about to scold her she suddenly say "Mr.Katsuragi..I don't...*cough* *cough*" Io looked sick. I quicklytook her to the park not so far away. "IO! IO!!! Hey! HEY!! Wake up wake up!" My eyes were starting to fill with tears. I was panicking and my hands were trembling. I let Io sat down on the bench as I checked on her. What the hell.
I could see her insides but still feel her skin. My hands trembled as I noticed that Io's pupils were melting.

Did they use Io as a test subject?....

No...

They wouldn't use her...

Right??....

"........"

"M.......rag.....ka....."

"MR.KATSURAGI!!"

I was suddenly awoke by a voice of a child. I slowly open my eyes to see I was inside a hospital. There was a child next to me. She was short and about 7 or 8 years old and had short fluffy blue hair and a pale skin. I tried to ask her something but I couldn't speak...No..I couldn't move. I couldn't remember anything and I'm stuck here with a child.

What the hell happened?

The child stayed with me all day and cried at night. Some doctors came in and out but I wasn't listening of what they were saying.  The girl cried while saying " I-I'm so sorry.. If I didn't cross the street... I'M SO SORRY MR. KATSURAGI" she kept saying sorry and cried until she slept.

And I felt rather sad and not annoyed that a kid was crying for an hour loudly.

I felt so calm and eased when she fell asleep and I couldn't stop feeling sorry for her.

I'm sorry.

( WOOP WOOP I'm back boiz! I'm thinking the story a lot so this chapter is a mess sorry...
Also probably this story Isn't going to be like a zombie apocalypse? It's just going to be a apocalypse I guess?
