え? ZOMBIE? (What? Zombie?) [ on pause ]

Happiness day

When the war started to happen every month there's this week when the  people who has sickness gets help for free. Any sickness were healed but most of the people couldn't be help and died in the end.

we called this day "Happiness week"

Since we were helped for free.
I didn't have any sickness but Jeri worked there so I would usually go there and help her.

"How are you Jeri?" I asked her with a smile.
"Well...I guess I'm doing okay? I haven't killed one person yet!" Jeri smiles happily and chomps down on her ice cream. "Well that's nice! I hope you're enjoying it! " I got up from the bench we were sitting down. Jeri looks up at me
"Hm? Your already going?" Jeri asked.
I stretch out my arms and look at Jeri
"Yep! I have class today I don't know why though.."
Jeri tilted her head in confusion.
"Why? Didn't your school close?"
"What? No it's not."
Jeri then picked up a paper and showed it to me.
"It says here that schools will close from this week."
I got more and more confused.
"Well why didn't I know?"
Jeri shrugged at my question and
decided to come with me at my school.

It was closed.

"See I told ya!"
Jeri said grinning.
"But why didn't I know it?
I need to get my things anyway.."
I grumpily said.
Why did my school just suddenly close without me knowing it? What is this? A bully or something?
(This kind of writing is hurting my eyes..)

As we went inside my school I noticed that some of the windows were broken and some things were missing. "Hmm..This is weird.." I looked at the missing door in front of my classroom.
"Maybe they're just going to replace it! This school is old anyway." Jeri said walking inside the class room.
The floor would creak if you walked on it so I thought the same as Jeri. I quickly grabbed my things from my desk inside the classroom and got out of the classroom. "Hey let's explore this place before we go!" Jeri then suddenly grabbed my hand and ran through the hallways. "What the! Jeri!"
I said half giggling. We then somehow arrive at the gym while turning hallways and running across classrooms. I was out of breath and dying while Jeri was just okay and pulling me inside the gym.
"C'mon! stand up Ghost!" Jeri pulls me up.
"Knees weak..Arms spaghetti....." I mumbled.
I then finally stand up and walk inside the gym.
I was going to show Jeri some of my basketball skills and went to the basketball hoop but then suddenly

Jeri then widened her eyes and ran to me and  carried me bridal style.

"FIRE!"

I could hear a mans voice and I could feel a sting in my arm. Pain was going all over the my arm and I couldn't move it. Jeri swiftly got inside the storage room inside the gym and locked the door.
"OH..OH FUCK! GHOST! STAY WITH ME OKAY?"
I could hear Jeri shouting at me. I then noticed that there was a big needle just stabbed in my arm which made me feel woozy and sleepy. I could hear Jeri calling my name and said something about going to find something and don't sleep but the wooziness was so comforting that I fell asleep.

I didn't wake up where I was.
